Ladies Outdoor Club Adventures P.V. - L.O.C.A. LOCA is designed for women traveling or living in Puerto Vallarta. It is a place to discover new places, experience adventures in the company of women only.

Most importantly, it is a place to make new friendships. Ladies Outdoor Club Adventures is an outdoor group for women of all ages and walks of life. We hike, snorkel, explore other towns, shop and have casual evening gatherings. LOCA is a great way for women to explore the beauty of Puerto Vallarta while networking and making new friends. LOCA is also involved in the community. We support CANICA w

hich aids families of children with cancer. Some of our excursions involve a collection of food or clothing for these families. Whether you are new to Puerto Vallarta or live here in the winter months, LOCA is a great option to add to your Vallarta experience. What is Day of the Dead in México?

A Mexican tradition celebrated from October 31st to November 2nd.

During this time, families build ‘ofrendas,’ altars adorned with marigold flowers, candles, sugar skulls, and the favorite foods and drinks of their deceased loved ones.

The purpose is to welcome back the spirits of the departed, bridging the gap between the living and the dead.

If you would like to experience Day of the Dead with LOCA, I'll be hosting a fun and informative workshop on the 1st and 2nd of November.

After the workshop, we'll take a stroll on the malecon to visit all the altars and of course the magnificant and gigantic Catrina!!

The emotion of releasing baby turtles into the ocean is a powerful, heartwarming, and humbling experience.

Also, there is a hopeful element in releasing the turtles, knowing that although not all will survive, every release contributes to the survival of an ancient species.

I am grateful for the chance to experience this monumental event with my LOCA members and I'm very grateful for the biologists who fight so hard to protect the turtle population.

Whale season is just around the corner!!

I submitted this photo from our whale watching tour last year! They named the whale, "Blizzard" who was last seen on the California coast!

Although official whale watching season starts mid December, you will often see them in the bay as early as October! 🐳💙
