A new way to experience Oaxaca

Hi, we’re Katrin & Cesar, a German Mexican couple living in Oaxaca City!

By chance, we met Armando, a well known Alebrijes artisan and his beautiful family in their workshop in Arrazola, around 14 km away from Oaxaca City.

We decided to work together to bring more guests to hidden Arrazola, the village where wooden alebrijes were born.

The way the artisans are expressing their emotions and connection to nature through the alebrijes work is simply amazing. It’s time to show these skills to a wider audience!
