A Ripple of Hope: Our Impact on the Ocean 🌟🪸

At the 2023 WRTC edition in Punta Cana, IADWP Cares joined forces to create a better world for both current and future generations.

What did we do?

During the event, we organized a special activity aboard the catamaran. Attendees not only enjoyed the sea but also learned about the importance of preserving marine corals thanks to the Bávaro Reefs Foundation . This organization, in collaboration with the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Environment, has been managing the third-largest coral nursery in the country since 2016.

What were the results?

We are excited to share the progress of your adopted Porites sp. coral earlier this year. Despite the severe global bleaching event of 2024, your coral has shown extraordinary resilience and continues to grow healthy and strong.

See the results! In the attached images, you'll notice the open polyps, a clear sign of its health and vitality. Your coral thrives even in challenging environmental conditions.

Your support has been fundamental. Thanks to your contribution, we are closer to restoring and protecting our marine ecosystems.
A part of IADWP now rests at the bottom of the ocean, helping our planet thanks to you! 🌊💙
