While some online sources say it was released in February, "Negative Megalomania", our 4th full-lenght album was in fact released on CD around these days 16 years ago by Avantgarde Music for Europe and shortly afterwards by Season of Mist in the USA. The album was also released in a ultra-limited edition of 99 copies in a paper-digipack CD housed in a clothbag including sticker, badge, postcard and A2 poster. It was later released on LP in 2011 by Obscure Abhorrence, limited to 150 copies on red/white swirled vinyl and 350 copies on black vinyl, in a gatefold sleeve. The album marked an evolution in the bands' sound, incorporating then-unusual influences from different genres and featuring more advanced playing skills, soulful clean vocals and more progressive song-structures. It opened the second phase/trilogy of the band and created a huge buzz within the scene, with people taking sides either with the avantgarde nature of the album or against it. Many fans now regard it as one of their favourites. It was certainly one of a kind and very important for what the band will perfection and achieve later on, as well as being ahead of its time in a number of areas.
