Good afternoon everyone.
Starting from 1st November, Malaysia Airlines can now fly you home to Sydney quarantine-free. Day of operation will be on D6. You may view it in your respective GDS.
Flights are open to fully vaccinated Australian citizens and permanent residents if the following travel requirements are fulfilled.
1. Fully vaccinated Australian nationals, permanent residents, and their family members.
2. Have been vaccinated with the approved vaccines, namely Pfizer (Comirnaty), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax), COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), Coronavac (Sinovac) and Covishield (AstraZeneca/Serum Institute of India)
3. Full vaccination must be administered with a minimum of seven (7) days before being allowed to board. (i.e. if the final shot is taken on 1 November 2021, passengers can only travel 8th onward to Sydney. Failing to meet the requirement will result in denied boarding).
4. Children under 12 years and unvaccinated will be allowed to travel and accompanied by a legal guardian who is fully vaccinated.
5. All customers must provide proof of negative PCR test results with a test taken within 72 hours of departure from the first point of departure.
6. Fully vaccinated passengers transiting in KL International with connecting flight to Sydney within 24 hours are permitted to continue their journey.
7. Customers are required to complete all relevant entry declarations prior to departure, as per Australian Government Guidelines.
