This is how cement floor looks like if you screed the surface layer after the bottom rendering layer dry. The top layer not able to stick properly on your cement floor and it will chop slowly.
Therefore when you do rendering, pls do remember to screed the floor at the same time.

This is Terrazzo flooring. Very old type of flooring but it last longer than tile floor.

Many house in KL still keep this kind of floor. It come in white, green, grey, and red color.

But nowaday, we only have white and cement color base Terrazzo flooring. The advantage of this floor is you can grind it multiple time, and it always back to shining. But the disadvantage of it is if any stain water penetrated inside, it cannot removed. It will always remain there. This floor is color and last for scratches. And to supply and install new Terrazzo flooring is at middle range.

This is the traditional wood floor, usually we call it parquet floor. This floor is build by small wood piece is square. Usually 4 square is 19 inch. Wood piece thickness only 5mm. This kind of wood is glue direct on top to the cement floor.
If your cement render floor has slight uneven, and the wood floor has been grinded for 2 time, the wood may left only 3.5mm, then when you walk on top, you will hear "click" sound which is normal and nothing much can be done.

The good thing for this floor is, if there is leaking and flooding on the floor, just wait it dry, grind it and it can be used as new.

This one is Engineering Wood. On top is solid wood piece, bottom is plywood system. It can be grind 2-3time before reaching the plywood. If you have this kind of floor at home, try just varnish it than grind and varnish.
If you facing damage as per photo, then you need to change those damage piece. Grinding floor not able to solve the issue.
