Good Morning Everyone ! ❤️
Today i’m going to share with you my experience in Malacca, also know as the Melaka.
This city is located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula. When you come to this city you feel like you are not anymore in Malaysia.
You will find building and homes with an architecture inspired by the Portuguese, Dutch & British culture.
You may not know but Melaka have a rich cultural heritage, subsequent to the colonial rule of Portuguese, Dutch and British.
Among its other historic architectural sites, the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum and the Malacca Sultanate Palace are one of the most renowned places.
Malacca is popularly known as the unofficial capital of Malaysia and it has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2008.

Let me share with you 3 activities that you should to when you are in Melaka.
If you are there during the week-end you should go Jonker Street Night Market. It’s a night market where you can find street foods, souvenirs, drinks etc..
This street is located in the center of Chinatown, you can’t miss this, you will see a representation of a tiger at the entrance of the market.
You can also come there during the day time, where you can find nice restaurants & cafés.

The second activity is to visit the Straits Mosque. Why I put it on this list ? It was for me the first time that I saw a Mosque on the sea. I never saw it before coming to Melaka.
I thing it something quite amazing and extraordinary, and everybody should saw this one in their life.

The last activity that I very love is the Melaka Cruise River. If you decide to do this you will see Melaka in a different point of view. I recommend you do to it during night, so you will see the different light around the river.
You will pass thought different main monument of Melaka, and you can also see some street art.

Of course there are more activities to do and place to visit in this city but I wanted to present the three main activities and places that I very like.

Hope you enjoy this post.

It my last post in this page…
Don’t be sad I will comeback with new adventure soon !
Until that stay safe ! 🥰👋🏽

Good evening!

Today's post will be about Celebration&Festivals in Malaysia.
Since this month is the month of Ramadan, I’m going to try to explain how Muslim Malaysian celebrate Hari Raya!
Hari Raya is a celebration that declares the end of Ramadan.
This celebration is conducted for 3 days where all the family will try to reunite each other to search for meals or gifts during the day.

During those days you fill find Ramadan Baazar, its night food market where you can find different types of cuisine from around the world.

You will also see decorations around the city and especially in the mall.
Almost all the mall in Kuala Lumpur had changed their decorations.

During Hari Rays after the payer at the mosque, some people are going to the cemetery to pray for the people that are not there anymore.

After this, the traditional « Open House » welcomes neighbors, friends, and relatives for a joyous sharing of mouth-watering foods, such as the diamond-shaped Ketupat.

Those who keep to older traditions may also choose to light up the pelita (oil lamp) in their compounds.

Hope you enjoy this post!
I can’t wait to celebrate this event with all my dear friends!
See you soon

Selamat Pagi & Good Morning Everyone! 🤩

Today I would like to share with you some religious monuments that I have visited since I’m in Malaysia.🥰

First is one of the most popular monuments is Batu Caves.
Batu Caves is an Indu temple very known for the colorful stairs that go up until the caves. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Murugan.
When you are there you can see monkeys all around the temple.
You will also hear music and maybe if you have a chance you can also find a market where you have discovered all the flavors of India.
A Fact about this place is that before the stair was not painted and the painting was in 2018.
If you are planning to go today please try to go in the morning so like that the weather is colder than during the afternoon.

The second monument is Masijd Jamek.
Masjid Jamek is known as the Friday Mosque. The mosque was built in the year of 1907 but was officially opened by the Sultan of Selangor two years later.
The Masjid Jamek is located between the intersection of the two rivers.
This Masjid is in the center of KL.
It is a very nice place with beautiful architecture and mosaic.

The last monument is the Thean Hou Temple. This temple is a Chinese temple, it’s known also as a temple of the wedding.
The god of the wedding is represented in this temple and a lot of future husbands and wifes come here to ask for good fortune and luck from the god during their marriage.
This temple is very nice and you can see all the Chinese culture and heritage in it.
We will also see a beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur on top of the Temple.

So we will end today post here. 🤗
Thank you for reading this!
Hope you enjoy it and see you next week for a new post 👋🏽

Hello! Good evening! 🌟✌🏼

Today's post is about Malaysian Weddings! 🥰

I have never been yet to a Malaysian wedding but I would love to go to one after seeing all these pictures. 🤯

How a Malaysian wedding is processed? 🤓
From what I have read in the different articles there as quite a lot of rituals to be processed before and during the wedding.
The future husband and wife are not able to see each other 14 days before the wedding.
The Akad Nikah (Solemnization) ritual is used to give the bride away. It is led by a Wali, who is typically the groom's father. In the presence of two witnesses and Islamic authority, a Kadi, this marriage ceremony is performed. The Kadi must first summon the bride and obtain her consent to the marriage before proceeding.
The bride will have like a girl party a few nights before the wedding and where they are going to make Henna on the hands.

Indeed the future husband and wife are most of the wedding traditional dress that is the symbol of the heritage of Malaysia.

I think the best part of a Malaysia wedding is the food! We will food a lot of food and music during the wedding ceremony.

Hope you like this post! And see you next week! 🚀

Good afternoon everyone! 🤓
Today's post will be about G.A.M.E.S !! 🤯😱

Since I’m in Malaysia I still didn’t have the chance to play traditional games, but after reading all these articles about traditional Malay games, I can’t wait to ask my friends to come and try with me those games.

I will try to explain two games that are commonly played in Malaysia.

The first one is Batu Seremban. ✌🏼
Batu Seremban or also name as « five stones », is a traditional game that passes through the years.
It was played with stones originally, it is commonly played by kids using five mini beans.
The goal of this game is to toss one 'stone' (or bean) up while scooping up as many of the other ones as possible before catching the thrown one.
The game necessitates a high level of speed and agility, as well as some attractive stones.

The second game is Congkak. 🌟
The name congkak is seen to come from the old Malay word 'congak,' which means mental calculation, which is what this game is all about. An excellent player who mentally calculates a few steps ahead of time will have a leg up on the competition in terms of earning points.
Each player has an additional store-hole on a congkak board, which has fourteen holes in two groups of seven. The goal of the game is to collect more seeds (or marbles) than the other players.

I would like to try this game but I’m not too good at calculation I think I will not win haha. 😅

Here was my post for this week! Hope you guys enjoy it!
And if by any chance you could like to play those games with me, feel free to contact me! 🤗

Good Morning!

Today's post is about FOOOD 🍜🍛🥤

I’m going to explain 3 dishes that you should eat when you are in Malaysia! If you don’t try these 3 dishes that mean you didn’t very go to Malaysia.

Malaysia is known for being a country that is considered the paradise of food. You can find dishes from every country in Southeast Asia. But today we are going to discover together 3 typical Malay dishes!

The first one is known as the symbol of Malay food: Nasi Lemak.
Nasi Lemak is the national dish in Malaysia but depending on the region you are in the country you can find different versions of this dish. 🤯😱
Basically, Nasi lemak is rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaves, served with a side of sambal (a spicy paste), eggs and anchovies. We can also have with it friend chicken or seafood curry or fried fish.
This dish is full of flavor when you eat it. Sometimes you can find Nasi Lemak serves on a banana leaf and I think the best way to eat Nasi Lemak is with your hands ! 🤗

The second dish that I’m going to explain what is Roti Canai.
Roti canai is a traditional Malaysian pan-fried flatbread made with flour, water, eggs, and fat. It can be served on the side or torn into pieces and mixed with the curry. However, roti canai is often served as the star dish, accompanied by different savory and sweet fillings and ingredients.
Roti Canai is a Malay dish but has influence from India. Commonly I saw people eat this dish for breakfast. 🙌🏼

The last dish for today is Curry Laksa.
This dish is a spicy noodle soup that can be found in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
The soup is a mix of coconut mil flavor with dried shrimp, topped with prawns and fishcake. Sometimes you can find a version of this noodle soup with chicken.
I appreciate very much this dish cause it is spicy and have a lot of flavor in just one noodle soup! ✌🏼

I highly recommend you if you have time to try those 3 dishes when you are in Malaysia!

See you next week for a new post! 👋

**The different pictures are from Google since I forgot to take some pictures before all those delicious food goes into my stomach 🤓😅**

Good Afternoon & Selamat Pedang 😇

Today I discover the art of 👩‍🎨
But what is Batik ? 🧐
Batik is a hand-dying process that involves covering sections of a pattern with wax as a dye repellent, dyeing the uncovered cloth with a color or colors, then dissolving the wax in boiling water.
Batik is a hand-dying process that involves covering sections of a pattern with wax as a dye repellent, dyeing the uncovered cloth with a color or colors, then dissolving the wax in boiling water.🎨 However, it is likely that the Javanese affected Malay batik-making both technically and in terms of design development. The Malaysians utilized wooden blocks to make batik-like fabrics in the beginning. 😎

You can find here some pictures of the day's batik lesson, from each step of the process. And also a picture of the wax that is used for this artwork.🌟

It was a very fun day! The Batik art is very peaceful and it is a nice activity to go there and learn how to do it 🥰
For my artwork, I was chosen to draw a golden fish with a flower.
I highly recommend going there and trying to do it, it is something you can't miss if you come here!

See you next week for a new adventure in Malaysia! 🥳

Thank you to Alexis, Mohamed Amin & Matthias to join me for this activity 🚀🙏🏽

Selamat tengah hari ! Apa khabar ?😇
Good afternoon! How are you doing today? 🥰

Hope everyone is doing well and healthy! So, in today's post, we will about FRUITS!🍇🍋🍓🍎🍊

I will share with you 3 different fruits that you can find in Malaysia. 🚀🌟

The first one is named « Dragon fruit » 🐲. The dragon fruit is a fruit that grows on a climbing cactus called Hylocereus. The cactus originally grew in southern Mexico and South and Central America. The French people brought it to Southeast Asia in the early 19th century.
There are three species of dragon fruits grown in Malaysia namely; white flesh dragon fruits (Hylocereus undatus), red flesh dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus), and yellow skin dragon fruit (Selenicereus megalanthus).
Today I tested the white flesh dragon. Actually, it is like you eat a kiwi but without the taste…
Maybe the fruit was not ready to be eaten but it was ok! It was a nice experience to try this fruit! Next time I will try to find the two other dragon fruits maybe they will have more taste this time :)
The fruit has a lot of nutrition benefits like blood sugar etc…
Just take care some people may have allergic due to this fruit…

The second one is « Durian » 🥰. How you can come to Malaysia without eating a durian. Durian is known as the fruit that smells bad, but in reality yes it smells bad but it is so gooood ! Durian is a typical SouthEast Asia fruit, you can find some in Europe or America but it will never taste like the one that you can find here!
You should know that durian has its season. Typically, the durian season occurs between the months of June and September but depends on which state of Malaysia. You, maybe, will have the chance to eat durian before some other people can!
The taste of this fruit can’t be defined. Why? It depends of you! Like you prefer a « hard » durian so the taste will be less strong but if you prefer a « creamy » durian the taste will be more strong.
Compared to some French dishes, I will say that durian is like the Camembert a French cheese. The French people will know that when you leave the Camembert a little longer in the fridge, you will smell a strong odor coming from the outside and inside your body if you eat it! You will smell so bad!! Actually is the same for the durian! And you have the chance that people here love durian, so you can find durian cake, durian ice cream, durian curry, etc...
Don’t be scared cause people say it smells not good! Go ahead and try you will surprise yourself! Or maybe not…

The last one is « Starfruit »🌟. Starfruit is not really a star. On the outside, we can think that it is like a baby mango but with a strange aspect. This fruit can only be found in SouthEast Asia, but why it’s named starfruit? This fruit got this name because when you cut into it you will see the shape of a five-point star, it’s like that the name of this fruit comes « Starfruit ».
In Malaysia, the season of this fruit is between April to June or October-December. So if you visit Malaysia during this period you can try this fruit. The taste of this fruit is a little bit sweet and sour fruit. I had already tasted this fruit and personally, I didn’t like it because of the sour side of the fruit … But if you like sour maybe it will fit your taste!
You need to know that the star fruit is a rich source of oxalates. Maybe the shape is strange but you can find a very healthy side of this fruit!

Hope you like this post! See you next week for new updates! 🚀🤓
