The world is facing an unprecedented global health, social and economic emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tourism is among the most affected sectors in Malaysia with airplanes on the ground, hotels closed, travel restrictions put in place and no mass gatherings. Tourism industry sectors including airlines, attractions (such as national parks, protected areas and cultural heritage sites), business events, cruise lines, hotels, live events, online travel organisations, restaurants, tour operators, transportation and travel agencies.
In conjunction with after one year of movement control order (MCO) – March 18, 2021 (Thursday), BERJAYA University College is organising Relook, Restrategise, Revitalise Virtual Forum to learn from the past, manage the present, and create a better future. Therefore the virtual forum shall include four forum sessions for a few selected panelists, who are the key players from business events, hospitality, live events and tourism industry meet virtually to discuss and exchange ideas on a given topic, mainly to share about their challenges under the internal and external pressure, how they change to succeed in the new normal and also the future of industry practice.
RE Virtual Forum is targeted towards students, associations, event suppliers, government agencies, travel agencies, hoteliers, meeting planners, venue owners, destination management companies, non-governmental associations, concert organisers, exhibition organisers, convention organisers, convention bureaus and more.
