Hi there!

I am a film photographer pursuing a project documenting the lives and stories of expatriate families/individuals living in Malaysia through portraiture. I am looking for families who are interested in taking part in this project/willing to have their portraits taken. In return of your help, you will be given free portraits.

I am also working on another ongoing project titled M.Y. YOUTH where I document youth culture in Malaysia. I hope to merge both series and exhibit the pictures next year.

If you are interested to be a part of this project please contact me or kindly refer anyone you know who is interested! Please do not hesitate to ask me any question!

🇸🇪⚽️På lördag natten till söndag 12.30 på natten så spelar Sverige mot Tyskland i kvartsfinal!

Susanna Insulander har fixat ett Sverige bord på Havana (Changkat) från kl 22.00!

Just a small tip to all Swedish people in KL (or any crayfish lovers). IKEA now has frozen crayfish for sale prized at 85RM per kilo.

Sweden made it to the quarter finals, let's all meet and cheer for the Swedish team. Naked Bar at Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas. Happy hour all night for us.

Tonight we will have our warm up at 11 pm with the game South Korea vs Mexico before the real battle begins Germany vs Sweden at 2am Sunday morning.
Come and cheer for Sweden. Happy hour all night long for Scandinavian Society Malaysia at Naked, Plaza Damas. We have a table reserved for us.

Tonight we are cheering for Iceland at Naked, Plaza Damas but some of us will already be there at 8 pm to warm up with the game Brazil vs Costa Rica.
Come and join us, the Scandinavian Society Malaysia has a table reserved for us and we can enjoy happy hour prices all night long 🙂⚽

Dear Members,
Come and watch the Fifa World Cup together with your fellow Scandinavians and cheer together when we are scoring.
We will all meet at Naked, Plaza Damas and we have a table reserved for every game involving Iceland, Denmark or Sweden. They are offering us Happy hour prices for beers and they also have snacks and light meals for those feeling hungry.
Please note that they will even be open for us even for the very late games that starts at 02.00 am as long as we prebook our table.
Match date and time as follows:
June 16, 9 pm Argentina vs Iceland
June 17, midnight Peru vs Denmark
June 18, 8 pm Sweden vs South Korea
June 21, 8 pm Denmark vs Australia
June 22, 11 pm Nigeria vs Iceland
June 24, 2 am Germany vs Sweden
June 26, 10 pm Denmark vs France
June 27, 2 am Iceland vs Croatia
June 27, 10 pm Mexico vs Sweden.

Please comment below if you are interested to come to any of these games so I can make the reservation for us. You can bring friends as well as long as they are cheering for any of the Scandinavian countries :)

Dear members of SSM,
The Society has not been active for a longer period of time but we are now a couple of members that are trying to reactivate the society and bring you opportunity to meet up with other Scandinavians living in KL.
To make this possible we need to have a few people to help out in the Committee and to help us with various activities.

It doesn't require much of your time and it will be most rewarding for yourself and your family to help out organizing events like a Christmas Party, Coffee mornings etc.

Please let me or the Honorary Secretary Michael Jenssen know if you are willing to help us to get the Society active again.

We are also keen on updating our member index. Please inform Michael if you have moved, changed e-mail or if you no longer are in the country. We need to have an updated index.

Stay tuned, we will let you know when we are up and running again and what you can expect of us to do for you.
