Sun morning walk from Jalan Kenari Hindu temple to Emperor villa, some 40 minutes walk on a chilly morning through durian, langsat and rubber plantation. Gurgling running water stream sooth the hearing with greenery all around. It was an easy hike with slight slope. Had breakfast of Nasi Lemak, half boil eggs, toast and coffee before walk back to civilisation. On weekend advise to go early, else can be packed with longer waiting for breakfast table.

Chance upon a small pitcher plant (monkey cup) up at Penang Hill trail bypath B. Could be Nepenthes mirabilis. It is tiny. The pen is for comparison of size.

Refreshing solo walk this morning at Penang Hill. Cool 21c, no rain but cloudy. Did community service by picking all the litters along the way while walking the way to Monkey Cup Garden and back.

11Sep18, cruise season started now until June next year. Took my cruise customers go Jalan Jalan in George Town and Armenian Street in the rain. Best of all, have a plate of char koay teow in the rainy day. Splendid.
