RESORTS WORLD ONE in DRYDOCK at Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) in Shenzhen, China.
"名勝世界壹號" 正在深圳友联船厂进行为期5天的维修保养工程。她将于4月12日回返香港完成她剩下的航程, 并会在来临的5月底来到新加坡与雅加达, 展开全新的东南亚之旅 !
Operated by Resorts World Cruises, the 75,338 gross tonnage (1999-built) Leo-class vessel arrived in Shenzhen shipyard on earlier April 07th, 2024 for a five days of general preventive maintenance which include hull exterior painting, lifeboat landing maintenance and inspection, main engine routine maintenance, and partial interior space renovation of the ship.
As reported in the local news source, this is RW1 for the first time entering drydock refurbishment in China Shenzhen domestic shipyard. In view of the tight schedule, it requires the full support and cooperation from all relevant parties such as the ship management, shipyard, customs and project units to ensure a successful drydock completion within the 5 days of time frame.
RW1 last refurbishment was dated late January 2023 in Singapore where she joined RWC from her previous defunct brand, Dream Cruises and underwent an estimate of two weeks+ drydock for a change of ship name, ship logo and other technical inspections.
She will return back to Hong Kong on April 12th to continue her remaining cruises before repositioning to Singapore in late May for her Southeast Asia short deployment which includes Jakarta, Indonesia.
