Vertical Progress is an organization that is led by its co-founder, Sha’in, an independent thinker with over 20 years of community development experience with a focus on development of youths. An architect by profession, Sha'in recently received the highly coveted and respected Certification as a Qualified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager. Vertical Progress (VP) furthers, enhances and
spurs effective, result-driven collaborative initiatives dedicated to community development. Vertical Progress works on several innovative community initiatives each year that are developed based on grass-root data, community surveys and analysis that are eventually placed in VP’s Innovative Incubator that serves as a reference for various organizations to adopt and drive. Vertical Progress has already reached out to more than five thousand underprivileged and urban poor youths. In addition, VP has a dynamic database of over ten thousand youths representing a diverse range of communities. Not one to rest on its laurels, VP has established a Nationwide (Malaysia) Network of Resources that is able to reach out to communities and provide critical support in the deployment of progressive community initiatives. This Nationwide Network of Resources represented by qualified and capable individuals provides the sustainability factor in all nationwide initiative that are deployed.
