The island harbors many hidden talents, where families work tirelessly for the future of the next generation. Perhaps, you meet a delivery person who doubles as a composer. Maybe the restaurant or laundry shop owner is a photographer, or the one managing harbour transport is a musician. The possibilities are endless.

Poet Wang Tao, often referred to as the "Son of Pangkor," leads a group of musicians from Pangkor Island in serenading Pangkor love songs under the moonlight. Wang Tao grew up accompanying his father in the fishing industry. He found joy in the daily return of the fishing boats, but there were also times when he felt sadness when rough seas prevented the fishermen from going out, greatly affecting their livelihoods. For him, the ocean is both a source of love and frustration. These life experiences have provided him with endless inspiration for his creative work.

In this 10th anniversary of PIF, we bring everyone 100% original poetry and music from Pangkor. Perhaps you've never heard original music from the island before, as this is a rare opportunity. Under the moonlight, holding lanterns, gazing at the sea, let's sing Pangkor love songs together and maybe, the girls on the other side of the shore will look over too!

看文字已感受到美妙的旋律，这些美丽的诗歌都是由邦咯岛民所写的。在岛上有很多隠藏着艺术天份的岛民，因为家庭为了下一代的生活在努力打拼中，或许你会路上遇到一位快递员，可能他会作曲；在餐厅或洗衣店的老板，可能是一位摄影师；在经营码头运输的， 或冲泡咖啡乌的，也可能是一位音乐人等等。

有“邦咯之子”之称的诗人王涛，带领几位来自邦咯岛的音乐人，在月光下献唱邦咯情歌。王涛从小跟随父亲从事渔业的工作，他学会了补渔网，也做过捕鱼的艰辛工作。每天为渔船满载而归而高兴，有时候也会因为风浪太大不能出海，渔民的生活受到很大的影响而感到悲伤，所以海洋对他来说是又爱又恨，这些生活点滴都为他带来无穷无尽的创作灵感。

邦咯海岛节十周年为大家呈献百分百邦咯原创的诗歌及音乐，或许你未曾听过岛上的原创音乐，这是一个难得的机会，在月光下提着灯笼，看着大海，一起唱着邦咯情歌，让对岸的女孩也看过来吧！
