Our Story

Robin & Louise (R&L) started the Airbnb business about 3 years ago in 2015. We have been investing in Iskandar properties since 2000 and over the years have been involved in renovating our house for own stay as well as rental. Our first apartment at 1Medini Residences completed in 2015, at a time where property market is undergoing correction. My wife and I decided to list our 1Medini apartment in Airbnb.

At the beginning, we were very hands on and did everything ourselves. We worked at our regular jobs and did everything for our rental guests. We communicated with the guests and we provided all of the laundry and cleaning service, as well as changing of linens, and being there for the handover of the keys.

Over time we started to have more guests, and the reviews from our guests were good, so our rental business began to grow. We began to hire professionals to do the cleaning, work with interior designers for part of the renovations, provide transportation for our guests, etc. We both had a passion to provide guests with accommodations that they could feel at home in. We discovered that when our guests were happy we felt fulfilled.
