Everyone can cook with this simple recipes using multi pressure cooker.
CHICKEN YAM RICE with Multi pressure cooker.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.2kg of chicken, cut into pieces
- 3 cups of rice
- 3-4 pieces of lap cheong (Chinese sausages) (optional)
- 3 cups of water/chicken stock
- onions
- garlic
- yam
- spring onion
- dried shrimp
- sesame oil
- shaoxing wine
- oyster sauce
- dark soya sauce
- light soya sauce
- salt
- white pepper
Marinade the chicken
- 5 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper
- chopped garlic
Sauce for rice
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
COOKING STEPS
(Frying / sauteed)
1. Mix all the marinade ingredient together with the chicken and keep in the fridge. (Minimum 2 hours or overnight)
2. Fry the chopped garlic, onions and dried shrimp until the garlic turn a bit brown. Then add in marinade chicken and fry until the chicken is cooked.
(Multi pressure cooker)
1. Pour 3 cup of rice together with 4 cup of water / chicken stock.
2. Pour in the cooked marinade chicken into the multi pressure cooker.
3. Add chopped yam.
4. Add in the sauce for rice.
5. Set the multi pressure cooker to rice function.
(15 minutes)
6. Once the multi pressure cooker cook finished, add in spring onion.
Additional
1. You can add shaoxing wine or sesame oil or light soy sauce again for taste / according to your taste.
Now your chicken yam rice is ready to be serve.
