What a day at the - literally one of the most thrilling days we've seen in kiteboarding and certainly had the pleasure of witnessing. Aaron Hadlow Official Page became the first rider to win two King of the Airs (back to back in 2015 and 2016), Jesse Richman muscled his way to second and Kevin Langeree was majestic in third. We will wrap up our thoughts in the new issue and the coming The Kite Show as the Kiteworld team, along with Colin Heckroodt, anchored the livestream. Today was the day we've dreamed of seeing with really credible extreme big air conditions. Credit to the riders who stepped up to the plate and delivered, risked, enthralled and bravely sometimes put too much on the line. We can confirm that Lewis and Lasse are safely in recovery in hospital taking a well earned break. Too awesome for any more words. Check out The Kite Show for our build up videos, and the livestream will be on demand at the Kite Show too Thanks Red Bull King of the Air 2016 that's a wrap!

CONGRATULATIONS to Aaron Hadlow taking 1st place in the Red Bull King of the Air podium two years in a row!

Aaron boosted 16m high, maxed out at 6.5s of airtime and a 4.3G max landing.

Jesse Richman took 2nd with 17.7m / 7.2s / 5.7g
Kevin Langeree came in 3rd with 16.1m / 7.5s / 4.2g

Ready for the BIG air contest here in Tarifa. First things first epic selfie at the new event side. This spot is pretty amazing for big air and looking at the forecast brings a huge smile on my face! Bring it on wind! The big air might start tomorrow, I'll keep you posted.
