Kou Kuas Adventures will be at the Dallas Safari Club convention & sporting expo from the 9th to the 12th of January 2025 in Atlanta at the Rigby booth 4251 as well as at the Safari Club International convention from the 22nd to the 25th of January 2025 in Nashville at the Rigby booth 1507.

Some fantastic hippo trophies were taken from the concession this year!

Did you know? The hippopotamus is responsible for more human deaths than any other big game animal worldwide.

Namibia is currently facing a severe drought, which is impacting wildlife, livestock, and the livelihoods of its people. Managing a select few helps ensure human-wildlife conflict is mitigated while reducing pressure on grazing areas. Hippos are highly territorial and can cause significant overgrazing if populations are not sustainably managed.

Many of our clients return every year and this is why. A fourteen day elephant hunt successfully completed with a couple of bonus animals in between . This client has already booked for next year and we are looking forward to hosting him once more.

🌿 Father & Son Dream Hunt at the Kou Kuas Home Ranch 🌿

In August, we had the privilege of hosting Rudy and Lee for a very special hunt on our ranch. These two gentlemen had been dreaming for years to make their African hunt a reality and we’re so grateful they chose to share this experience with us.

What made this trip truly memorable was the bond they shared as father and son, making every moment on the land even more meaningful. The time they spent here wasn’t just about the hunt—it was about creating lasting memories together in the heart of the African wilderness.

At Kou Kuas, we cherish these moments when clients become friends; Rudy and Lee are a testament to that. They reminded us of the value of adventure, family, and appreciating every second in nature.

We’re honoured to have been a part of their journey, and we look forward to many more hunts and friendships like this.

Roan antelopes are a true trophy, known for their striking dark brown coats and impressive curved horns. They offer a challenging experience for dedicated hunters.

With its thick, worn-down boss and horns that speak to years of battle, this old warrior is everything a hunter dreams of. Its torn ears and signs of hair loss reveal the many challenges it faced in the harsh bush.

A remarkable old sable bull taken on free roaming land, its majestic 45-inch horns a testament to its age and strength. Truly one of the most spectacular antelopes in Africa. The wilderness of Namibia never ceases to amaze with moments like these, where time seems to stand still in the presence of such natural beauty.

Another old buffalo hunted in Bwabwata West. We found this bull after passing up many potential other bulls during the safari. This was only day three. Well done to our hunter on this great trophy.

Our camp in Bwabwata national park is the perfect place to experience Namibia and pristine wildlife. Hunting here is an absolute bonus. Apart from Rhino we have had everything come visit our camp at night. This is still true, pure Africa.

When hunting big game it is especially of utmost importance to take your time and make sure the right animal is being hunted in the specific area. After spending months in this specific area we knew this was the oldest bull and the right one to hunt.
