Throwback to our unforgettable time at the Maxlride Festival 2024!
Untamed Africa Tours went international and made life-long memories.
We met many amazing people at the festival including Leonoor and then, two months later, had her join us in Namibia for an exciting tour. It is funny how this world brings people with the same passion together.

In 1486, Diogo Cão became the first European to step foot on the Cape Cross and placed a stone cross to claim the land on behalf of the Portuguese crown.
Cape Cross is also the home to up to 210,000 fur seals.
Although Cape Cross may smell a bit strange, it is a fascinating and unique experience. This is why It is one of the main attractions on our tours.

NAMIBIAN AWARENESS POST 🇳🇦 🇳🇦

Hi everyone. As a Namibian tour operator and passionate rider i want to share some details about riding in this beautiful country.
As its becoming a more attractive country for motorcyclists we have more tour operators, groups of friends or just solo riders spending time here. This is good for our economy but only if it is done right.

We have a lot of issues with groups/riders going into areas they are not supposed to. Thinking that its like Mexico with no rules. Nowhere your allowed to leave the jeep track and create new ones. Thats rider etiquette here in Namibia. We dont get rain to recover tracks and they become a sore sight. The result of bad behavior has led to ALL!!! The rivers north of Brandberg to be off limits to bikes. This is due to Elephants and rhinos in the area and riders racing down river beds. Attaced is a picture of the no go zones in green. A small group of us have beed trying really hard to negotiate with the Ministry of environment and tourism, conservation groups and local operators to keep areas open to bikers. We hope to get more information out there asap. The easiest thing for them is to close it all down so we as bikers need to thake extra precautions to make sure we do not give them a reason to do so. As a Namibian i want to have the freedom to ride here for many years to come and to share this with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. Please stick to the tracks and existing trails! Make sure that when your on a tour the tour operators do it responsibly. Feel free to contact me if you need more information regarding the do’s and dont’s for Namibia.
