Abuja Airport is getting ready to welcome Nigeria Air

If you visit Abuja these days you'll probably notice something big is happening at the airport. It could be a significant increase in the number of flights or passengers that are now back to normal, but it’s even better news. The renovation work has started to welcome Nigeria Air at the airport of Abuja in Terminal C.

A new OCC (Operation Control Center) will be visible to everyone coming to the airport, showing the importance of this airline to the country. In the capital of Africa’s biggest country, and with more than 30 years, Abuja Airport has a lot of potentials to explore which are now coming to life with such renovation. These changes will make Nigeria Air stand out and allow it to offer a good experience for its customers and offer the potential for growth into other domestic and international flights. The plans to implement these renovations started a few years ago and now we’re not only about to see great things happening but we also know many important innovations are coming to the Nigerian aviation industry.

Kabir Mohammed, Abuja Airport Director, shares our enthusiasm with this project: “Nigeria Air will be operating here with their own offices and with a dedicated area for its passengers. The airport went through many renovations and many more are still to come. You need to be part of this experience.”
