ECDYSIS(skin shedding /sloughing)-Basically a snake shed its skin to allow body growth.Before a snake sheds its skin,Its eyes look opaque or clouded over because the newly formed skin will cover its eyes,and can't see well during this time, so it find a safe place to hide out until they begin shedding.The shading starts from the nose against rough surface until a pieces of skin comes loose and skin comes off inside out.
