Life is never viewed from one perspective; the cup is either seen as half full or half empty. Also you either see 6 or a half a dozen.

We get pressed down a lot of times and wishing we can wake to the reality of all we envisioned in our spirits. How you perceive the events will determine how you respond most times.

As you journey in the business world, one of the main skills you will either have to learn or taught to develop is how to respond to different event and different people at various times.

If you feel tired of everything around, don’t give up, be encouraged. You have come a long way. You will do well to realize that sometimes in business, you might do everything right just like NOKIA and be shocked out of the market because of events or forces beyond your control.

You have not failed till you tell yourself the easiest lie - you can’t go again.
Be encouraged as a wonderful friend will always say. Then get yourself up and show again in the market place. You will win in the end.

This was the 9th of June 2023 when I had to pick Enived’s ATOL at NCAA office in Abuja. I had just finished a couple of meetings and pitching to raise the funds needed to acquire 3 aircrafts for ‘s AOC process and ultimately, scheduled operation.

As I signed the document to receive the license, I smiled 😁 looking at many impossible moments we had passed and how God remained faithful.

One lesson I learnt that day was; for investors to bring fund a company in any country, they must be able to predict the government’s economic policIes and directions. The moment the sense of uncertainties in the country is more that normal, then as a founder, you might need to get ready for a long ride.

So we went back to the drawing board. Yes, we had few alternatives at the time but then ‘wisdom is profitable to direct’.

We wanted Enived Air to debut scheduled operation ASAP but at the end we decided to start out with a very unpopular option.

FEW THINGS I LEARNT

1) Never take a promise as a bill to plan you business.
2) Have a plan and stick to it no matter what. Investors are observing you to see how consistent and committed you really are.
3) You will always have alternatives, if you don’t give up out of frustration.
4) Understand Politics but never get involved. Your team won’t always be in power.
5) You are not small if you don’t sell yourself like that.
6) Keep showing up, understand the market and keep adjusting to meet the current reality.
7) Get your business before you get a company.

Today, Enived Air is positioned to introduce some excitement in the airline and travel space.

NOTE: I just remembered this day and smiled. The journey prior to 9th of June 2023 wasn’t funny and the journey since then has taught me a lot too.

At times, what you need is a time to have a good laugh with the team and share some stories they might not have known about the journey. Make light of the hard times and appreciate everyone that has been a part of the growth even before them. Yes, I have been hurt by some but I hold the amazing times we shared as a treasure. decided to stop by the office. He really added color to this beautiful moment. We value everyone who contributes to the Enived realities.

This is my thought this morning and I felt I should share.

Sometimes in Business as it is in life, you don't get what you deserve as droplets but deliberately show consistent movement towards the main goal you set out to achieve.

Don't be silent if need be, advantage in business is relative. You can copy the principles but don't always the copy action.

Write your story by all means knowing you have just one life to live. Take the risk and stay kinging your game

It will end well if we don't give up.
