We venerate our ancestors. They’ve been here before us and we “Know” they’ve had the best and worse of experiences on this Earth before us so we honor / Venerate / pay Homage to Them to guide , protect and bless us on our life’s journey on Earth .

In our Libation pouring to Them, we seek for their knowledge , wisdom , guidance etc . Anyone who will tell you we worship our Ancestors has no knowledge of his or her Ancestry and therefore blindly wants to mislead you . We don’t even Worship our Gods/ Spirits like a lot of people think . Rather Gods/ Spirits worship us instead , same with our Ancestors .

They serve us rather and that’s why when we call on Them to come to our Aid in everything , they listen and obey . In return , we pay homage , venerate and make sure we give them their due RESPECT 🙏🏿. So many Africans have been brainwashed to believe / think they are worthless when it comes to Spirituality. The True God is you and that was the knowledge passed on by our Ancestors but unfortunately Slavery came to teach the masses ( To neglect the Power / who we truly are , in search for something powerless that doesn’t even exist ) - Illusion .

Just as the masses have been brainwashed to think there’s a Place somewhere where everyone will go wait to be judged and sent to Hell or Heaven , I ask where are the current people being born coming from in this case ?
A lot needs to be learned as Africans / Ghanaians. It’s a Pity these basic knowledge of Ancestry is even missing / lost right from our Homes to our Educational systems . It’s a pity . 😔 cos we shouldn’t even be here talking about this topic , this topic should have been something known by any Ghanaian but unfortunately not . Knowledge and veneration of Jesus , Mary , Angel Gabriel , Angel what ever , what ever rather fills the minds of the masses with no or little knowledge of our True self 🤦🏽‍♂️😔.
I’ll end my comment here , we will talk more about this Topic another time bro
