The Association of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu state on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 congratulated the Governor of Enugu state Dr. Barr. Peter Mbah on his victory in the Appeal Court.

In a congratulatory message received at the Government house Enugu, The state Chairman of the Association Comr. Sunday Ozeh said, "your excellency's third victory at the court is a clear testimony that when God says yes nobody can say no adding that Tricycle Riders in the state will continually support Barr. Peter Mbah and PDP as they did before, during and after election" he therefore prayed God to bless and protect the Governor as he make plans to implement his blue print in alleviating the suffering of Tricycle Riders in Enugu state for our Tomorrow is already here.

Members of Association of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu state condemn, in its entirety, the plans by Kingsley Edeh of Amalgamated Tricycle, a group set up by some greedy individuals to milk Tricycle Operators in Enugu State on their announced blueprint to Force Tricycle Riders in the state to buy Ticket on Saturday.
Enugu state board of internal Revenue is a government establishment saddled with the responsibility to collect revenue and their time of operation is between Mondays to Fridays (8am - 4pm). This implies that the office in-charge does not work on Saturdays and Sundays, so, no one will be allowed to use government name to extort our members. We know our dear Governor Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as an ambassador of ease of doing business who frowns at double and illegal taxation, on this we believe he wouldn't sit back to watch hoodlums spoil his administration.

Kingsley Edeh also wants to use intimidation to force Members to register with his Amalgamated group, but thank God this matter is already before the court of competent jurisdiction and Status quo ante must be maintained by both parties pending the determination of the matter in Court. We will do everything within the ambit of the Law to resist his intimidation or enforcement on the side of our members because all our members are already with their form and ENS SECURITY NUMBER

SECURITY MEETING WITH GOV. MBAH.

The State Chairman Association Tricycle Riders Enugu State Comr. Sunday Ozeh alongside the BOT chairman of our union Comr. Benjamin Ikah after a *security meeting* with His Excellency Barr. Peter Mbah at Government house Enugu.

The Governor pleaded with Ndi Enugu to go about their lawful business on Mondays as his Monday inauguration has set the ball rolling.
He promised to do everything within the ambit of the law for the speedy release of our brother Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also work with the security agencies to ensure that Ndi Enugu is safe.

Our State Chairman therefore urge all Keke Riders to come out and do their work

TRICYCLE RIDERS ELECTS NEW STATE EXECUTIVES.

History was made today as Association of Tricycle Riders today elects new state leaders after a successful two tenure of comr. Benjamin Ikah led executives.

Cmrade Sunday Ozeh of Abakpa branch won the position of state chairman, The union Electoral chairman Mr. Matthias Ugwoke declare him winner when a co-contestant Comr Abuchi Ngwu willfully stepped down for the interest of Peace.

The state delegates election which is normally conducted every four years to elect state Leaders of the Tricycle Riders took place today at Dragon guest house 82 division Nigeria Army Enugu.

The occasion was greased by honourable Commissioner for Transport Hon. Dr Peter Andy Omeje represented by the permanent Secretary of the ministry Hon. Ogbonna Idike.

The out going state chairman and SA to the Governor on transport Hon. Comr Benjamin Ikah thanked God for the grace to have successfully completed his constituted two tenure of 8 years in office which was made possible as a result of the support he gained from Tricycle riders in the state.

He charged all members to support the state chairman elect Comr Sunday ozeh and his executives for a more positive accomplishment.

SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE ALERT

The government of Enugu state through the Honourable commissioner ministry of Transport Hon. Dr. Andy Peter Omeje today held an emergency security meeting with the transport stakeholders to reiterate government's commitment in ensuring a safe Enugu state.

He warned those using Tricycles and mini-buses in Perpetrating evil of any kind to desist from such act because law will soon catch up with them, he also pleaded with those without Security Identification number and plate number to get them immediately.

The commissioner further formed an enforcement team that will see to the compliance of NO TENTED GLASS, STATE SECURITY IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, 9pm OPERATION BAN & COLOUR VIOLATION.

The Leadership of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu state on Tuesday 17th January 2023 endorsed PDP Gubernatorial Barr. Peter Mbah and his Running mate Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai plus other PDP candidates in the state on the forthcoming general election.

Speaking during the endorsement program at the PDP campaign office Nza street Enugu, the state chairman Tricycle Union Comr. Ikah Benjamin Ejiofor said, "we are endorsing PDP because PDP led administration under Governor Ugwanyi has shown that Keke Riders are parts of his government"

The PDP Gubernatorial candidate Barr. Peter Mbah who was represented by the Executive chairman Nkanu East local government Hon. Okechukwu thanked all for supporting PDP and promised to partner with Keke Riders when elected as the Governor.

The state chairman Association of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu state joined the civil servants as they celebrate their Week, Comr Ikah who were at the venue of the Football Match between Senior Spacial Assistants VS Permanent secretaries/Directors thanked civil servants for patronizing Keke Riders on daily basis and ensure them that their safety is our number priority thus our motto remains PEACE, JUSTICE AND SAFETY

This year's event which was declared open by the Head of Service Enugu state Mr. Ken Chukwuegbo at Rangers camp Enugu as a show of worker's fitness in all ramifications, thanked the participants for their time and pleaded for the spirit of sportsmanship as this is more like celebrity's friendly match than competition.

Association of Tricycle Riders Enugu State is for PDP. ---- Comr Benjamin Ikah.

According to Aristotle every human being is a "political animal" because he is a social creature with the power of speech and moral reasoning.

Owing from our long established relationship with Enugu state government under His Excellency Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since 2015.

The Association of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu State want to state unequivocally that our Union is supporting all PDP candidates in Enugu state from it's governorship candidate Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, all Federal and State House of Assembly candidates.

Comr. Ikah who is the state Chairman of the association made this known when he had a meeting with the Branch Chairmen of the Association on the campaign plans for PDP in Enugu State.

PDP government under Governor Ugwuanyi gave us peace in the union and that is why Enugu state is rated the most peaceful state in Nigeria

He frowned at the plans of disgruntled individuals under the guise of any other association to destabilize Union peace with a view to pave ways for opposition party.

Recall that INEC has today 28th September 2022 opened campaign window for all political parties.

The Keke political support group known as ALL KEKE FOR GBURU GBURU will continue to follow the anointed King Barr. Peter Mbah 100% and will stop at nothing but victory.

It was a mournful period for the Association of Tricycle Riders Transport Union Enugu State as they lay the body of their state secretary's wife Late Mrs Maryjane Ezugwu to rest.

The body of the deceased was lay to rest around 0130 hours yesterday but the bereaved husband Comr. Pius Ezugwu and family members could not hold their tears.
He said, “It is a painful experience and a trying time for my whole family because She was more than a wife to me. She was an angel and strong pillar of my family, She was a wife and mother that every good man and child must have. I’m yet to believe my Wife is no more.

The state chairman of Keke Association and SA on Transportation Comr. Hon Ikah Benjamin Ejiofor who was at the burial prayed God to give the family fortitude to bear the lost. He added that his next visit to the family will be as a result of a good fortune.

The Enugu state stakeholders meeting with the new Commissioner for transport Comr. Dr Andy Peter Omeje was a successful, Dr. Omeje in his opening remarks commended the leadership of various transport union especially the Association of Tricycle Riders Transport union Enugu state for making Enugu state habitable in terms of security with the ongoing "unique code identification" for every Keke operating Enugu state but frowned at how Roads are being blocked by both traders, Transporters and illegal U-turn in some areas like Holy Ghost, Mayor and Abakpa Markets and advised all to desist from such act.
The permanent secretary of the ministry Hon. Ogbonna Idike in his keynote address pleaded with the general public especially the "big men" not to disobey traffic rules because defaulters will not go unpublished, one of the guest speaker who is the Assistant Commissioner of police in-charge of operation promised to work with the union and the ministry in other to get things right.
