FREE WEBINAR REVEALS: The Easiest Way To Relocate to Canada in 2022 for studies (even if you have a 2.2 or 3rd class degree).
"I graduated with a second class lower/third class degree, can I still get admission in a Canadian university?"
This is a very common question amongst international students looking to further their education. You might think having a low degree stops you from gaining admission into schools in Canada or study abroad, but this is not always the case. In other words, most universities in Canada will require you to do a postgraduate degree (PGD) before you commence the master's degree. Moreover, the undergraduate degree won't be the only factor to consider. The degree might seem like an obstacle between you and your dream course but there are ways to overcome it.
When considering how to do your master's in Canada, you need to make sure you are eligible for admission. Universities and courses vary. You can find some of the top universities to do your Master's here.
Why Do A Master's Degree in Canada?
Canada has the best academic environment and it is recognized worldwide. Canada is a welcoming country with wonderful citizens, hence settling in would not be a problem. In short, it is safe to say Canada is safe, secure, and welcoming. However, the big question is if you can study there with a 2.2 or 3rd class.
Can I Do Masters With A 2.2 or 3rd Class Degree?
Getting a university in Canada would prove impossible but I am here to tell you it is not. An international student applying to study in Canada should have at least a 2.1. However, with a 2.2 it is achievable. You will require a PGD. Although, it will be difficult to gain admission with a score lower than 60%.

Professional Experience: Some courses would require you have some form of professional experience before applying. (Courses that have to do with social work).
How To Apply For Maters In Canada:

How Can you Boost your Chances with a 2.2 or 3rd class degree? 👇
Most universities will not be be overly happy with the degree you have. Therefore, you need to put in extra effort. If you are sure you want to further your education and want to do it for the right reason, consider doing these:
1. Consider Different Institutions: The more flexible your mind is the more likely it is to gain admission. Widen the search. As an international student, you are eligible to apply to a maximum of four schools of your choice (most schools that offers full/half funding, scholarships and student loans are listed in the guide).
2. Consider Different Courses: If your CGPA is not up to 3.0, Instead of applying for a master's program consider applying for a PGD. Admission tutors will consider applicants for PGD quickly as they are usually shorter. On completion, you will extend it to get a Master's degree (when you contact us, we will help you with a guide that contains list of schools. This will help narrow down your search for a course/program choice)
3. Work Experience: If you have a not so cool result you need to do everything to show the results does not define you. Prove your worth by having experience in something related to your course of study. Meanwhile, you can do this during the summer. Better still, take a year off of school and work on yourself.
4. Take Time With Your Application: Putting time and effort into your application should not be overemphasized. You are competing with different other applicants for a spot. Applicants with first class and second class upper are also competing making your chances slim. Therefore, you need to work harder to convince the tutors you deserve the award. You need to sell yourself well.
