*URGENT CALL FOR COOU STUDENTS TO APPLY FOR NELFUND*

Dear students,

Are you in need of financial assistance to further your education? The NELFund education loan is here to help you achieve your academic goals. Here are the steps you need to take to apply for the FG student loan:

1.Visit the NELFund website, verify your nationality and educational information (current institution, matric number and JAMB registration number) to create your profile and fill out the loan application form at portal.nelf.gov.ng

2.Ensure the JAMB reg number and your date of birth are correct.

3.To secure your login details, you will be required to enter your National Identification Number (NIN). The system will verify your NIN immediately upon entering it. Your name should appear just beneath the box where you provided your NIN.

4.Use a valid email address associated with your NIN for account creation. Any other email will not work. Create a strong password with at least one capital letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character, all exceeding eight characters. Click “Create Account” and be persistent if you encounter error messages. Valid details will eventually be accepted. You’ll receive a verification link via email. Click the link to access the login page and follow the prompts.

5.Fill out the application form completely and accurately providing all the necessary information. The system will automatically generate your programme type, academic session, course of study, department and level. Proceed to account details where you will be required to provide your BVN, bank name, account number.

6.Submit the completed application form along with the required documents through the online portal.

7.Wait for the loan approval process to be completed. This may involve a review of submitted information, and other relevant factors, then apply.

8.The tuition fee will be paid directly to your institution, not to you.

9.As you apply for the 2024 NELFUND student loan for Nigeria students, understand that no one requires any applicant to pay any fees or see anybody for any process. The loan application and disbursement are fully virtual processes.

Remember, the NELFund education loan is designed to support students in need of financial assistance to pursue their academic dreams. Don't hesitate to apply and take advantage of this opportunity.

2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University hereby invites candidates who made the University their First Choice Institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 200 for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and Pharmaceutical Sciences and 150 for other Courses to apply for the 2024 Post UTME screening exercise.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

A. Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand naira (N2,000.00) only, through the REMITA platform online using debit card or at any Commercial Bank.

B. Post-UTME Registration Process:

1. Go to http://portal.coou.edu.ng
2. Scroll down to 'Undergraduates' section
3. Select ‘Generate Post UTME Invoice’
4. Enter JAMB Registration Number
5. Click on ‘Submit’ to generate invoice
6. Proceed to any bank for payment or pay using your ATM Card.
7. Return to the portal
8. Scroll down to 'Undergraduates' section
9. Select 'Fill Post UTME Application Form' and re-enter JAMB registration number
10. Click on 'Login' button to fill in the required fields, submit and print slip.
