WHY YOU THINK THERE’S NO JOB IN BAHRAIN
I have seen severel posts here to discourage people of their plans not to travel to Bahrain, because there no job.
Well, this is capital NO!
What I discovered about we Nigerians is that, we are used to our traditional ways of doing things in Nigeria. For example, some people just believe to see shops, companies, or factories to put up a vacancy board outside their business premises for them to just walk-in and submit their paper called (CV) just like the way we do in Nigeria.
Here in Bahrain, you have to go through online process, even ordinary cleaning job has been contracted to recruitment agency by company that needed cleaning staff.
Most of those recruitment agency are on link-in looking do manpower to hire.
I recently asked 2 African ladies working with KFC in my area (juffair) how they got their job, they both said, through agency they submitted their CV to on linkin.
Many people coming from Nigeria with believed, once they have money to give those street guy, they are sure to get any job to start with. Well that method still working because of some business owners or individualswho don’t like to pay good salary, they want to take advantage of people who needed work permit badly to stay in Bahrain, so they can short pay them.
Last weekend, I met an Igbo brother (Tobe) at juffair mall, we exchange contact and he later turned to be my friend in Bahrain, he work with oil firm as safety Engineer, he drove Hyundai jeep, I admired him becus of the big-boy life-style he lived. I asked Tobe how long he has been in Bahrain, I was surprised to know he’s not up to 2 months he came to Bahrain, I asked him how the he get the job, he said they contact him through his linkin profile account, and the company send him 1 month visit visa with flight ticket to come on visit visa with intend to try him on 3 months’ probation. The company gave him the jeep he drove, he live in juffair, one of the most beautiful and expensive cities in Bahrain.
The Picture attached below on this post is me and Tobe hanging out.
My point is this, if your believe there's no job in all Arab countries, yes you are right, because u lack knowledge to research information that can help u to better your life.
The connection and the information you have will surely get you ahead of others anywhere u go.
People that are getting jobs are getting jobs, it’s you that lack knowledge and understand of how things work now.
I have gotten up to 6 jobs offer on my linkin account since i arrived in Bahrain, but I don’t need it.
Don’t just rely on those guys on the street to get you jobs that’s not paying well, package your cv and search online, those big hyper malls need staffs, but you won’t know, unless you go to their website or the agency they contracted their jobs to.
In 1 week I got job for 2 people on Ramez hyper market links I posted here few days ago.
So why concluded that there’s no job, abi their citizen they work? No it’s we the foreigners that do the work for them.
When you are coming, I advise you to come with your CV even though its o’ level certificate you get, add too much working experiences on us cv.
Those Philippino you see that takes up many jobs, many of them don’t have university degree, it’s just secondary school cert, but they have agencies that help them to secure jobs.
Also prepare money along, because some of the recruitment agencies collect service charge, some don’t.
I stop here for now. Don’t come here to rant again that there no job in Bahrain or any Arab countries.
As if job they your own country.
