Information Regarding Upcoming System Changes
The U.S. Embassy/Consulate in Nigeria is moving to a new visa services provider. All nonimmigrant and immigrant visa application services will be suspended on August 16, 2024. All previously scheduled visa appointments for dates after August 16 remain valid.
The last day for applicants to pay visa fees by cash at GTB Bank is August 8, 2024. GTB account holders can pay visa fees online through August 15, 2024.
The last day for applicants to drop off documents at DHL Premium locations in Isolo- Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Enugu, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, and Benin is August 21, 2024.
The last day to pick up documents at DHL premium locations is September 16, 2024.
The last day to drop off documents at DHL regular locations in Abuja, Surulere, Victoria Island, and Lagos is August 23, 2024. The last day to pick up documents at DHL Regular is September 18, 2024.
Beginning August 16, the ustraveldocs.com website and customer service will no longer be available to schedule visa appointments in Nigeria. For more detailed information, please visit the U.S. Embassy website. If you have or plan to schedule a nonimmigrant or immigrant visa appointment on or after August 16, we strongly encourage you to check this U.S. Embassy website regularly for updates and additional information as they become available.
