Reasons and How To Avoid It👇🏻

Before you say "God forbid," read through this post and learn from the mistakes of others.

Reasons:
1. Irregular signatures
2. Falsified/forged documents
3. Suspicious account statement or insufficient proof of funds
4. Criminal records
5. Hiding any previous visa refusals
6.Unclear reason for travelling
7.Sounding like you are running away from your home country, and you have no intention of returning (during your interview).

It's normal to feel frustrated and angry when your visa gets denied, but it's not the end of the world. You can apply again, this time, more carefully. You can also make an appeal. If the issue is resolved, your visa status may change from Refused to Issued.

How To Avoid It:
1. Start your visa application early. Rushing might lead to mistakes
2. Provide accurate and complete information
3. Double check for errors, including spelling mistakes
4. Don't leave everything to your travel agent. Anything you don't understand, ask questions. Increase your chances by playing your part.
5. Don't leave everything to chance. Pray about it. I believe God has the final say in everything, and He can give you favour when you pray about it.
6. Write a detailed cover letter
7. Use reputable travel agencies 💫

KENYA TO SCRAP VISAS FOR ALL AFRICAN NATIONALS

There is a strong possibility that Visas to visit Kenya would be scrapped for other African nationals from next year as part of a movement towards opening up trade and travel within the continent.

“By the end of this year, no African will be required to have a visa to come to Kenya,” Kenya’s president, William Ruto, said at a climate change conference in Congo-Brazzaville.According To the Kenyan President Costly and time-consuming visa requirements, as well as high air fares, have long creaed barriers to inter-African travel for African passport holders.

According to reports, the development has been widely praised as Kenya may become the next African nation to scrap visas for African nationals after Seychelles, The Gambia, Benin and Rwanda

Air Peace Nigeria Limited’s Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema has revealed that the airline has successfully obtained the Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit.
Following thorough audits, Air Peace now meets the stringent safety standards and is qualified to operate flights to Europe and the United Kingdom.

According to reports, Onyema who disclosed this in a press statement said, “We obtained these permits that qualify us to fly to UK, before you obtain these approvals, they will audit you very well. You have to go through stringent audit, which we passed. We obtained the permit last week.”

AIR SENEGAL, ROYAL AIR MAROC SIGN CODESHARE AGREEMENT

Air Senegal and Morocco's Royal Air Maroc on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding for code-sharing and other steps to deepen cooperation.
Air Senegal said in a statement that the carriers would seek to increase connections and provide more options for passengers. Other areas of cooperation include aircraft maintenance, chartering and handling.
According to Report monitored from Reuter, "Royal Air Maroc and Air Senegal today are giving concrete expression to the desire of the highest authorities in our respective countries to develop this air bridge, in terms of both passenger and cargo transport," Air Senegal's CEO, Alioune Badara Fall, said.

AIR PEACE BEGINS JEDDAH OPERATIONS

Air Peace has announced the commencement of direct flights from Lagos and Kano to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on October 31, 2023.

The airline disclosed this during an engagement session with travel agents last week in Kano State. The airline said, the flight route which will be between Lagos- Abuja and Kano-Jeddah will operate three days every week.

BREAKING NEWS: UK ESTABLISHES VISA CENTRE IN ENUGU

We have received reports that The United Kingdom has established a visa centre in Enugu, South East Nigeria.

According to reports, this development was confirmed in a commendation message signed by the secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia.

In the statement, Enugu State government said the visa centre in the state will facilitate visa applications by residents in the state, the South-East zone, and the country at large.

Prof. Onyia, recalled that the visa centre was part of Governor Peter Mbah’s earlier requests during the visit to the Government House, Enugu, by the UK High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr Richard Montgomery, in June this year.

Venice's Grand Canal Is Suddenly Bright Green—Here's Why

Last Sunday, Venetians and visitors alike woke up to a strange scene, something that appeared to belong more in the Emerald City of Oz than the Italian metropolis: Venice’s Grand Canal was green. While the cause of the verdant channel was not originally known, city officials have now identified fluorescein, a chemical most often used in underwater construction, as the reasoning, reports CNN. However, it’s still unclear why or how the substance made its way into the water.

Residents first noticed a fluorescent green patch near the Rialto Bridge on Sunday, which appeared to spread as the day went on. Luca Zaia, the governor of the Veneto region, tweeted at the time that the government had called an urgent meeting to identify the source and that police were investigating the matter. Before determining that it was fluorescein in the water, multiple theories had circulated online, including some blaming algae growth as the cause.
