𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘

Once there was a lady who was ready to get married, and she has specific requirements for her dream man which she put into prayer evey single day.

Even though she was approaching 30, she refused all the suitors that came by to marry her because they did not tick all the boxes. Not that she was looking for a perfect guy, but she did not want to settle for less.

Of course, parents and friends were baffled by her decision; they were so sure that she would become 'old cargo' if care was not taken. After all, the older a woman gets, the less likely she was to get married (not that I agree with such but let's get back to the story)

Even her pastor was beginning to worry, but she was adamant. She had already placed everything in prayer and she had faith that she was going to get that which she desired.

It was when she was 31, that she finally met the tall, handsome born-again Christian who started attending her church weeks after she was 31, and they hit it off!

And guess what?

He ticked all the boxes! He had a sustainable income, he had a great personality, was a Christain and he was a pleasure to look at.

Of course he had flaws, but the Koko is that she found the man of her dreams!

Often times, when we have dreams, we fail to realize them because people around us convince us that they are too far-fetched and it is better to settle for less.

In some cases, we feel like we don't have a choice and we go for the one that is presently available (for example a job paying you #50000 per month)

But then we get comfortable, we relax in that particular rung of the ladder to success and we settle for less than what we were made for.

I want you to know today that you were made for more!

You need to believe it. Say it. And start living it.

You were made for more than that job, that toxic relationship, and whatever is less than your dream!

Never settle for less.

"Things are so costly now"

"I don't have any money right now"

"T-fare has gone up, but salaries are still at the same level"

These are the variations of complaints the average Nigerian adult talks about at least once a day.

𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙙

There is nothing inherently wrong with complaining.
It's a natural human reaction to being in an unfavourable environment.

But when you complain, and you take no action, that's when it no longer becomes natural.

There is a saying that goes, 'only an insane person does things the same way and expects the same results!'

As you go about your new week, look for ways to take charge of your life and change the way you do things.

Don't just complain, take action!

Someone somewhere, with the world's greatest negative energy is saying this with their full chest because according to them, "Canada is becoming very populated and they don't need so much people anymore, if not the process should not be so difficult"

𝘖𝘨𝘢, 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘦!

Just because they need immigrants, does not mean the borders should be open to every Peter, Bola or Abubakar👀👀

The process seems so difficult because... 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

With these two you become unstoppable!

𝙃𝘼𝘿 𝙄 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒𝙉?

A story was told of a man who lived in what is now known as Lekki Phase 1, sometime in 2010

Now if you are into real estate particularly in Lagos, you would know that 12 years ago, the Island was not the hot cake it is now

Of course, estate developers were encouraging Nigerians to buy land but lots of people were not so keen on making an investment that would not yield immediate returns

And this man was one of them.

A particular real estate developer who happened to be his friend kept on encouraging him to purchase land at what is now Lakeview Estate Chevron, Lekki.

Like say, his village people were after him, this man steadfastly refused to buy property at Chevron.

Fastfoward to 10 years later, and the price of property in that same place is more than triple the asking price when his friend encouraged him to buy the place

Now, anytime, he passes by the Estate, he would always shake his head and say, 'Had I known...'

Don't let this be your story.

Canada is the land for immigrants! Right now, the country's population is not enough to cater for their labour needs!

Now because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a drop in the number of immigrants that came into Canada over the last two years!

Canada is now opening up all immigration routes to get more people from all over the world to get into their country right now...

Even Universities are developing tuition fee plans whereby you can spread out the payment of your fees in instalments!

Just so that they can encourage international students, (aka. potential Permanent Resident candidates) just like you!

Just recently, the Canadian government released over $11 million CAD to a Canadian University for funding into S.T.E.M fields. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

That means applying to such university for a post-graduate degree in any of those areas can easily get you full funding, if you play your cards right!

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬:

Only those who apply early enough cab take full advantage of this opportunity!

If you sleep on this, you could wake up to realizing that other PG students have taken use of the opportunity and it's all gone.
