DLI stands for "Designated Learning Institution." This term is used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to refer to post-secondary institutions that are authorized to enroll international students who wish to study in Canada.

To obtain a study permit and come to Canada as an international student, the applicant must provide proof of acceptance from a DLI. DLIs are authorized by provincial or territorial governments to host international students, and they must comply with certain regulations and standards to maintain their status as designated institutions.

International students who enroll at a DLI are eligible to work on campus and may also be eligible to work off-campus under certain conditions. After graduation, they may be eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit, which allows them to work in Canada for up to three years.

While PGWP on the other hand means "Post-Graduation Work Permit". It is a type of work permit that allows international students who have graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada to work in the country for up to three years after completing their studies.

To be eligible for a PGWP, an international student must have completed a program of at least eight months of study at a DLI in Canada. The program must have been full-time and led to a degree, diploma, or certificate. The student must also have maintained full-time status during their studies and must have graduated from a program that is eligible for the PGWP program.

A PGWP is not job-specific, which means that the student can work in any field or for any employer in Canada. The permit is an open work permit, which means that the student is not required to have a job offer before applying for the permit. However, the student must apply for the PGWP within 180 days of receiving written confirmation that they have met the requirements for completing their program of study.

I hope this helps clear your concerns, Have a great day..

Welcome to a brand new week! It's a fresh start, a new beginning, and an opportunity to make progress towards your goals. Let go of any negativity or self-doubt from the past week, and focus on the potential of the days ahead.

Remember, you have the power to make this week great. It starts with your mindset and your attitude towards the challenges that may come your way. Believe in yourself, trust your abilities, and have faith that you can overcome any obstacles that may arise.

Set yourself some achievable goals for the week, and create a plan of action to accomplish them. Break them down into manageable steps, and make a commitment to follow through on them each day. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may seem, and learn from any setbacks along the way.

Remember to take care of yourself as well. Make time for self-care activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul. Get enough rest, eat healthy foods, exercise, and do things that bring you joy and happiness.

Above all, keep a positive outlook and keep moving forward. You got this! Have a great week ahead!

5 Legitimate ways to migrate to Canada in 2023, Read below πŸ‘‡:

As of 2023, here are five ways to migrate to Canada:

Express Entry: Express Entry is an online system that manages applications for permanent residency for skilled workers. To be eligible, applicants must have work experience in a skilled occupation, and they are ranked based on factors such as age, education, language proficiency, and work experience.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): Provincial Nominee Programs allow provinces and territories to nominate individuals for permanent residency based on their skill sets and economic needs. Each province or territory has its own set of requirements and application process.

Family Sponsorship: Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor their eligible family members for permanent residency in Canada. The sponsored family members must meet certain eligibility criteria, such as being a spouse, common-law partner, or dependent child.

Study Permits: International students can obtain a study permit to attend a Canadian educational institution. After completing their studies, they may be eligible for a post-graduation work permit, which could lead to permanent residency.

Business Immigration: Canada offers a number of programs for entrepreneurs and investors who wish to start a business or invest in Canada. These programs include the Start-Up Visa Program, the Self-Employed Persons Program, and the Quebec Investor Program.

I hope this helps πŸ™

Wow!! This is great news....πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

This means a lot for those of you coming for one year program. They have been extending PGWP. It might just happen in your time after u finish your one year program, u may not go for a second one year program to get 3 yrs PGWP. There is a high possibility that if you got a one year PGWP after studying for one year it might be extended. Canada really want you to stay and apply for PR. It remains the best choice.

For now it has been extended for those that currently have it. Hopefully it will happen in your own time too.

Don't hesitate to go for a one year program. It's fast and affordable. U will just be done in 8 months and keep working in Canada.

"10 Things to Know Before relocating to Canada.

Relocating to a new country can be an exciting and life-changing experience. However, it can also be daunting, especially when you are not familiar with the place and its culture. If you are considering moving to Canada, there are several things you should know to make the transition smoother. In this guide, we will cover ten important aspects that you should be aware of before relocating to Canada.

πŸ“Œ Immigration process: Canada has a well-defined immigration process that you need to go through to move to the country. The process can take several months or even years, depending on your situation. It is advisable to start the process early and seek guidance from a qualified immigration consultant or lawyer.

πŸ“Œ Job market: Canada has a strong and diverse job market, with many opportunities for skilled workers. However, it is important to research the job market in your field before moving to Canada, as it varies by region.

πŸ“Œ Housing options: Canada has a range of housing options, from apartments to single-family homes. However, the cost of living and housing varies by region, so it is important to research the area you plan to move to and budget accordingly.

πŸ“Œ Healthcare system: Canada has a publicly funded healthcare system that covers all citizens and permanent residents. However, there may be wait times for certain medical procedures, and it is advisable to have private health insurance to cover additional costs.

πŸ“Œ Cultural differences: Canada is a multicultural country, and you will encounter people from different backgrounds and cultures. It is important to be respectful of cultural differences and be open to learning about other cultures.

πŸ“Œ Weather: Canada has a varied climate, with different regions experiencing different weather patterns. It is important to research the climate in the region you plan to move to and prepare accordingly.

πŸ“Œ Language: Canada has two official languages, English and French. While English is the most commonly spoken language, French is widely spoken in some regions, such as Quebec. It is advisable to learn some basic phrases in both languages to help with communication.

πŸ“Œ Education system: Canada has a high-quality education system, with many excellent universities and colleges. However, tuition fees can be high for international students, and it is important to research the cost and eligibility requirements for education in Canada.

πŸ“Œ Cost of living: The cost of living in Canada varies by region, with larger cities generally having a higher cost of living. It is important to research the cost of living in the area you plan to move to and budget accordingly.

πŸ“Œ Adapting to the new environment: Moving to a new country can be challenging, and it is important to be prepared for the culture shock and make an effort to adapt to the new environment. Joining clubs or organizations, making friends, and getting involved in the community can help ease the transition.

In conclusion, relocating to Canada can be a rewarding experience, but it is important to be well-informed and prepared for the move. By considering these ten important aspects, you can make the transition smoother and enjoy all that Canada has to offer.
