Yankari is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nigeria. Do not allow the current insecurity in Northern Nigeria to deter you from getting to see this rare game park.
A lot of the endangered species of animals scarcely found anywhere in the country are actually still in existence at Yankari National Park. You will get to see some animals you never dreamed were even in existence. The wonderful thing about the entire story is the way these animals are kept and taken care of in large numbers like they have never been wild animals.
This is just a tip of the iceberg; don’t stay back, you need to see for yourself.

4. Waterfall Arochukwu Town (Abia state)

You must want to visit Nigeria after reading this!

The living immortal, Yeyemolu, is the permanent better half of the Ooni of Ife. According to history, Yeyemolu was the first wife of Oduduwa, the progenitor of the Yoruba race, and she remains the first wife of every succeeding king- of that she is in her 50th matrimony to oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
Ile-Ife, the cradle of Yoruba race and civilization is endowed variant wealthy historical facts and mysteries, and one amongst them is the mystery of 'Yeyemolu well'.
She ne'er had a baby in her first marriage to Oduduwa and in order for her husband to have his own children, she persuaded him to marry another girl. Oduduwa eventually married another woman who bore him kids. Shortly after the birth of his children by the other woman, she told her husband that she wanted to do something that will also make her live forever. Days later, Yeyemolu went missing in the palace. While in search for her, the Emes e (king’s helper) found an odd sight within the palace; a newly dug well. When consulting the oracle, 'Orunmila', the deity of wisdom, knowledge, and divination told the king that “Yeyemolu had remodeled herself into the well.”
In fact, the Ooni will ne'er be lonely or single because he permanently has a wife in the palace. Even if there is no woman in the palace physically, she, the Yeyemolu, is there perpetually as the first wife.
Her 50th husband, his Imperial Majesty, Ooni Ogunwusi once said in one of his interviews that, he communicates with Yeyemolu regularly like his better half. He also said that she is his god-sent first better half, and any other queen will have to accord respect to Yeyemolu, or she would somewhat be treated as an intruder within the palace.
Yeyemolu doesn’t wish to be covered, she wants to be exposed to nature and also the world directly, the more you cover it, the more she gets annoyed and breaks whatever you used to cover it before the next morning, and yet, the water remains clean, pure and without blemish when drawn.
All the compounds in Ile-Ife contains a mysterious passage that connects to the Yeyemolu well, so if anyone erroneously falls within it, the person would mysteriously find himself or herself in the nearest bank of any river or sea where family members could see them. But If the water is dared dare, and you fall into it intentionally, as small as it is, you will ne'er come back.
See this list of her husbands below:
Oduduwa; Osangangan Obamakin; Ogun; Obalufon Gbogbodirin; Obalufon Alayeore; Oranmiyan; Ayetise; Lajamisan; Lajodoogun; Lafogido; Odidimode Rogbeesin; Awoeokolokin; Ekun; Ajimuda, Gboonijio; Okanlajosin; Adegbalu; Osinkola; Ogboru; Giesi; Lumobi; Agbedegbede; Ojelokunbiri; Lagunja; Larunnka; Ademilu; Omogbogbo; Ajila-Oorun; Adejinle; Olojo; Okiti; Lugbade; Aribiwoso; Osinlade; Adagba; Ojigidiri; Akinmoyero; Gbanlare; Gbegbaaje; Wunmonije; Adewela; Degbinsokun; Orarigba; Derin Ologbenla; Adelekan (Olubuse I); Adekola, Ademiluyi; Adesoji Aderemi; Okunade Sijuade; and Enitan Ogunwusi.
Note that the 20th ruler, Luwo Gbajuda, is not on the list because she is the first and only female Ooni of Ife.
I will encourage tourists to travel down to Nigeria and have a glance at one of the mysteries of God in Ile-Ife.

Citizenship By Birth In Nigeria

Nigeria is among the few countries where citizenship is granted by birth. All you need as a foreigner is that plane ticket to deliver your baby in Nigeria. Each country has its own policies, regulations, and criteria as to who is entitled to its citizenship. A person can be recognized or granted citizenship on a number of bases. Usually, citizenship based on the circumstances of birth is automatic, but in other cases, an application may be required.

Giving birth in a foreign country can come with a lot of advantages. When a woman approaches the time of giving birth, it is critical to move abroad to give birth in the event that you desired so. Delivering a baby in a foreign country will undoubtedly give your child dual citizenship thus giving you other benefits as a parent. A child with dual citizenship is liable to greater freedom, insurance, health benefits, good education, investment opportunities, safety and reduction in tax. Where your child grows is dependent on you. choice but at least the baby possesses the freedom to move from one country to another.

One Place You Must Visit In Nigeria Before You Die!

Olumirin Waterfalls

Brief History

According to oral traditions, the Olumirin Waterfalls was discovered by a woman called Akinla, founder of Erin-Ijesa town and a granddaughter of Oduduwa in the year 1140 AD, during the influx migration of Ife people to Erin- Ijesa. Legends had it that the waterfalls had the appearance of mysterious figure when it was discovered then. The Olumirin waterfall is 2km/3km off Erin Ijesha town. An inestimable gift to the people of Erin-Ijesa and Osun State. Olumirin waterfall is a sweet naked bride welcoming all to run into her body of water and rocks. Topographically hilly, but a delight of the mind. She is the honeymoon of the eyes. The natural scenery is alluring, angelic soothing, greenery and tantalizingly refreshing. It is a place to roll on the ball of collective fun - as I and my colleagues did perfectly. I would have married Olumirin waterfalls if she were to be a woman.

The waterfall welcomes you with freshest breeze on earth, tingling and fi*****ng your body until you begin to mad over her. The waterfalls will say, "Come on to me O ye that are feeling heat I will give you lapping chill". I heard the waterfalls call us by our names; JBOLT, CLO, MARY, IFEOMA, SODIQ, GLORY, RACHAEL, IBRAHIM, RACHAEL, LIZZY, KENNETH, OLADIPUPO, AMINAT, IDRIS, Lekan, SANDRA, AUSTIN, CHISOM, DAMI...run into my body and have rest.
Here nature births wonder: you will see columns of pregnant rocks and arrogant trees lapping one another - forming stairways that lead to the SEVEN LEVELS OF THE ASCENDING PLAINS. Jovially, winds after winds and waves after waves would romance these rocks and, the trees with bowl-legged roots would wave their leafy hands at you seductively. Isn't that mysteriously magnificent?

There's something magical about the waterfalls: when you leave her you feel like going back to continue bubbling in fun. You feel like swimming over and over again. You feel like bathing there till Christ comes. You feel like dancing and sleeping there. You feel like you are from Erin-Ijesha. You feel like you have found a new lover. The waterfall is everything beautiful.
From the giant hilltop water was terrifyingly falling mercilessly on the rocks and visitors rolling on the drums of fun. We changed our clothes and ran into the water. Water ran into us too. Before then, fresh breeze had greeted our bodies with seductive coldness and vague chills. We smiled and became friends with nature.

We seated on the exact places the multiple falls were hitting harder on the rocks and, pictures were taken. There were screams of joy as the water was caressing hard on us. I, the camera man, ripples of water wet my clothes in splendour. Some swam in the water screaming in delight. Some sat on the logs overlooking the waterfalls and enjoyed their "drinkables" and eatables.

The moment of fun heightened when everyone united inside the water, either sitting or lying supine, and sang songs of joy. Hundreds of pictures were taken even further. The males handsomely backed the females which was so heartwarming and memorial. We positioned differently and took pictures which we be forever remembered.
The fact remains that the fun cannot be overemphasized. The memories and these pictures will keep realities alive forever. It was magical. It was magnificent. It was fantastic. It was memorial.
