Supplication of the (ﷺ) in Times of Distressبِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِThe of (ﷺ) used to make this supplication in times of distress:
‏:لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

Lā ilāha illā Allāhu al-'Aẓīm al-Ḥalīm, lā ilāha illā Allāhu Rabbu al-'Arshi al-'Aẓīm, lā ilāha illā Allāhu Rabbu as-samāwāti wa Rabbu al-arḍi wa Rabbu al-'Arshi al-Karīm."

There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne."

The man who had 3 wishes !
A 🧵

NOTE: You might have seen him on a lot.

Abdullah Bān'imah is a man who was paralysed.

You may have seen him on a lot, as the cameras used to zoom in on him.

Due to his paralysis, he was deprived from a lot of things a normal person could do.

In an interview, he gave 3 wishes that he had.

He wished for the ability to perform ONE .

He said that, everyone looks at him now and sympathises with him because of his state, but where was the sympathy when he wasn't paralysed.

Before his paralysis, he was very neglectful of his prayer, yet no said anything to him back then.

He said that he feared an Ayah of the Qur'an, and it is to do with the day of judgement, when a certain group won't be able to prostrate to Allah.

His 2nd wish was that he be able to turn a page of the Qur'an.

He said that we see it as nothing, such an insignificant wish...but to him, it was like a mountain.

His 3rd wish was that he enters the home on a day of eid, or any occasion, and he hugs his mother.

He became a preacher, reminding people the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them !

He sadly passed away on Friday 27th January 2023, and was buried in Baqī' in Al Madinah.

Allahu Akbar Kabiiran!!!

An Interesting Story: The Man Who Forgot The Qur’ān! 🧵

This story was related to the author via word of mouth, and it basically goes like this…

There was a father that deeply loved his son and wanted the best for him.
He wanted his son to become a Hafidh of the Quran.

So he took his son to the Haram…

He took the responsibility on himself to make his son a Hafidh.

Everytime his son made a mistake as he recited from memory, his father got hold of his head and would bash it against the wall of the Haram.

The boy eventually became a Hafidh of the Qur’ān.

He eventually became older, and didn’t need the assistance of his father.

He slowly detached himself from the Qur’ān, possibly due to the harsh approach his father took on him ( negative memories, ptsd etc )

At the end, despite the fathers love for his son and his desire for his son to become a Hafidh, his son forgot everything, partially due to the incorrect approach of his father.

And this is why a correct upbringing is important.

May Allah lead us to and through the best of acts!

The first Saudi expansion of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah took place in in the early 1950s, increasing the area of the mosque to 3 times.
