My experience at the Port of Entry

While waiting for my spouse to be cleared by the Canada immigration, a lady in her early 30s who came with a visitor's visa, called her agent in Nigeria requesting for those information he filled on her application form.

Before she called the agent in Nigeria, she has been attended to by one of the immigration officers. She was asked where she works, how long have you been working with them, she said 5 years and how much do you earn monthly she said 100,000 naira.

When the officer confirmed from the system, all her answers were wrong because I heard the officer told her she lied .Immediately, the officer requested for her return ticket and informed her that she might be returned to Nigeria.

Please if you are being assisted by someone, try and understand every details of your application. At this point, what can the agent do for her? Latter she was looking for ways to seek asylum before I left.

Get involved in one way or the other even if someone is helping you with the whole process. This is very important
