Our offices are open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, EXCEPT our Virginia Ave. & Jefferson Blvd. Offices close at 1pm on Fridays. We would certainly appreciate your support!!

Our community has been through a lot this spring of 2020, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Our teams have made several changes to our infection control procedures to help protect our patients and staff.

In accordance with the most recent recommendations of the American Dental Association, the MD State Dental Association, the MD State Board of Dental Examiners, and along with federal and state guidelines we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily only handle emergency dental treatments.

If you have a dental emergency and are an established Allegany Dental Care patient, please call us and follow the instructions in our voice mail. It will put you in contact with our answering service who can contact the dentist/office location on call.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we have made this decision in the best interest of you and our valued staff. Our team will continue to closely follow the updated COVID-19 information and open our doors to serve our valued patients as soon as the governing bodies say it is safe to do so.

Drs. Carella & Kiefer took a few minutes away from doing dentistry in our Smithsburg Office today to free a baby bird that got stuck in one our bird feeders! Glad all turned out well.
