Nigerian passport costs less than ₦35,000 if you do it on your own.

The below is the process and documents to apply and it stays 1-5 months before coming out, depending on your State.

You will register, apply, pay ₦35K, pick your capture center, capture and get it on your own without paying any Àgènt or imm!gration officer an extra money

The documents required.
1. NIN- National Identity Number.

2. Birth Certificate:
You can get this from the hospital you were born or population center. Go to your Local Government headquarter and you will get it if you don’t have. If you are born before 1993, you will get Age declaration letter and if you were born after 1993, your birth certificate is required.

3. Nigerian passport guarantor form: (l!nk on the comment section)

This is gotten once you have paid for the passport online, you will have access to print it and then take it to your guarantor who will fill it and then give you back. Who can be a guarantor? Any adult that has à Nigerian passport.

On the appointment date, you will go with the form, your guarantor’s photocopies of Passport data page, NIN and passport photo.

When you get to the office you have to stamp the form there.

4. State of Origin:
You will get this from your local Government headquarter office to testify you are from that particular state or go to your state liaison office in the city you live.

5. Your passport photographs.
It could be white or red background. (White preferable)

6. Your payment receipt of ₦35,000 and the payment should be made to the Nigerian Immigration account. Print out the receipt and have a photocopy too.

While filling the form, make all appear correctly, your names, address, contacts, make payment to the right account and then book your capturing date.

On that day, do go with all the photocopies of the above documents.

7 TIPS TO BUY CHEAP FLIGHT TICKETS

1. Book on Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday are among the best days to buy flight tickets. Most airlines usually set up their booking systems on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. This is because airlines know that most passengers will only have time to book tickets on weekdays. According to statistics, it is proven that most of us only browse ticket prices on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

2. Book Early, But Not Too Early

Based on experience, you should book tickets at least 21 days in advance of your travel date. Most airlines have set up their systems to achieve as many ticket sales as possible. Therefore, the system has a certain quota for very cheap tickets. For example, in the system, it is determined that for flights from Kuala Lumpur to London, only the first 20 passengers will get the lowest price. The next 200 passengers will get a medium price, and the rest may be more expensive. In short, the airline's system will set ticket prices based on the margin they want when flying from Kuala Lumpur to London.

3. Suitable Flying Days

Try to book tickets to fly on Tuesday or Wednesday. Most airlines set these two days as 'less busy days' for booking systems. Airports are also usually less busy on these two days compared to Fridays and Sundays when the booking system and airports become very busy.

4. Look for the 'Best Deal' for International Flights

Most airlines will offer the 'Best Deal' about 11 to 12 weeks in advance for international flights. So, you need to regularly check ticket prices during this period.

5. Choose to Land at Smaller Airports

You can try this technique, which is landing at an airport that is not the 'main airport' for that destination. For example, if you want to go to London, many will usually choose to land at Heathrow. Next time, don’t land at Heathrow, but try landing at a 'smaller' airport near Heathrow, such as the airport in Manchester. Then, from Manchester, you can take a train to London.

COST OF MY VISA TO FLIGHT TICKET,

For those who might want to tour Europa, here is the total cost of my Europe trip.

Before travelling, I loaded money in my virtual card (chipper cash) and also my UBA prepaid card, which allows you to use the ATM abroad. Also, I bought snacks in my hand luggage for emergency.

1. SCHENGEN VISA.

My visa cost N206,000, but it could have been less. So let me break it down for you so you know what you could avoid.

* The visa fee was €90, as at then, the exchange rate was N148,000.
I paid for a walk-in interview because I couldn't book an appointment online. This service cost N41,000.

* I took another passport at the visa collection centre because they said my passport does not meet their standard, it cost N5000.

* I paid for my passport to be sent to me by DHL whether I get the visa or not. This service cost N12,000. The visa Collection centre is in Lagos, I'm in Delta, calculating my transport to Lagos, hotel and taxis just to pick up my passport... DHL is way cheaper.

2. FLIGHT TICKET

I booked my ticket 3 days after my visa came out, so it was expensive. Flight tickets from Nigeria to Europe are cheap compared to flight tickets to other African countries. If you're lucky to book ahead, you'll get a ticket as low as 500 USD. If you know the hack of some route, you can get 450 USD. My ticket cost 750 USD... it was the period the dollar was N1,270... imagine if Dollar was N800 or N500?.😞

Look at the last screenshot on this post, I tried to book a ticket lastnight at Turkish airline from Abuja to France and back, leaving today 22nd May and returning on 1st December, it cost 643 USD and believe me, Turkish airline is expensive... there are airlines, and you'll get the ticket way cheaper.

You can travel around Europe through 3 ways,
Flight, train, or by bus.

* Flight is expensive but there's something I like about domestic flights abroad. If you're flying without luggage, it's cheaper than with a luggage,

Every person dreams to lead a better life and live in a modern country.
From this point of view, Iceland is the ideal country. There's no army here, electricity is free and people rarely lock their cars and houses!
Iceland is a northern insular country located between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean and was under Danish sovereignty until December 1, 1918.

👨 👨 👦 👦The population of Iceland is only 332,529 people. People trust themselves, so they don't lock their cars or homes, and children can stay unattended for a few minutes while parents shop.
Here are some interesting tidbits about Iceland:

📚 Icelanders love to read a lot. Occupied, No. 1 in the world.
If you order water from a cafe or restaurant, it's not like you have to pay.
They will give you tap water which is very good because it's a thermal. 💦

Icelanders trust people and they will not control you in any way.
Iceland is the only country in the world where voting takes place online.
This country is considered very conservative. The locals take a very serious attitude towards marriage.
Currently, tourism is very developed in this country, the number of tourists increases every year and is 2 times higher than the population.

Applying for Passport could be simple and at the same time be a hassle.

When I did mine, I got help from my long time friend, he’s here. And he told me “now you know how it’s done, next you will be helping others to do theirs “

And yes, that’s what I’m here to do.
* First you go to Immigration Portal and choose The Nigerian immigration Service

* choose,apply for fresh passport

* follow the prompt and fill in your details (please be extremely careful, ensure all your details tally; your NIN,BVN and please how ever your name is written on those documents should be how it should be on your application form. For example, if your name is ECONOMY NTORR IFEANYI, please fill it like that, don’t fill ECONOMY IFEANYI, Or Niort Economy, if not, you go explain and waka tire”

*After filling the form, you proceed to make payment

* Pick a date for your capturing and they will send you a list of things to bring which I will highlight for you

***Please ensure you photocopy all your documents!! And don’t forget to go with the originals too

* Download the Guarantor’s form, take to the guarantor to fill and sign. Take it to court to stamp it.
* When it’s time, go for your capturing.

NOTE: Original Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit and State of Origin Letter must be presented during documentation

NOTE: those whose birth certificates were issued before 1994 or something or were not issued by Population Census, go to general hospitals or high court or local governments to get one with population census.
