Building a Positive and Rich Lifestyle for Your Family.

When I was growing up, I thought going on vacation and flying on a plane were things only rich kids got to do. Those days, when we saw an airplane in the sky, there was this joy that welled up inside us. I used to tell myself "One day, na me go enter that plane!😃☺️

Years passed, and now as an adult, I realize that creating rich experiences doesn’t require being rich. It's about planning and making memories.🤔

Parents often aspire to provide a better life for their children, believing that certain experiences and possessions are exclusive to the rich. Obughi Otua.🤗🤗

1. Identify the things you believe the rich have that you desire for your family. This could include vacations, dining at nice restaurants, attending cultural events, or having a comfortable home.

2. Start Saving: Create a savings plan to achieve these goals. Allocate a portion of your income to a dedicated savings account for these experiences.

3. Vacations: Taking your family on vacations isn't just a luxury for the rich. Plan affordable trips that allow you to bond and create lasting memories. It’s about the quality of time spent together, not the destination.

7. Help your children understand that receiving a gift doesn’t mean they owe something in return. Gifts should be appreciated, not seen as transactional.

8. Encourage your children to accept kindness, such as a ride or a gift, without feeling obligated to reciprocate inappropriately. Help them understand that acts of kindness are not always tied to ulterior motives. Make your girl child no dey agitate to give out her no because of a ride🤗😚

9. Instill a sense of self-worth in your children. They should know they are valuable and deserve kindness without feeling indebted.

10. Never fight in front of your children. Female children often become impatient and prone to quarrels and keeping malice, while male children might become aggressive or avoidant. They learn by observing their parents, and these behaviours can carry into their adult relationships.

Don't confuse them by telling them never to fight with each other while they see you fighting and abusing each other. Children are silent listeners.

As I was unable to bring myself to learn the old or new, or old made new, National Anthem for now, I decided to visit the Ibom Icon Marina Resort.

I have left the National Anthem for school students and our Super Eagles, who will be playing at Uyo Stadium next Friday, to sing while I listen 🤗.

If you are a lover of football, you can watch it live as the Super Eagles play against Bafana-Bafana of South Africa. However, please watch later if you don't have the heart for it🤗🤣 to avoid stories that touch🧐

Ibom Marina is located inside the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort. You can access it through the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort or go directly to the place from the main road. It is about a 30-minute drive from Uyo town.

Along the road is a fish market. That's where many fish lovers and sellers buy fresh fish and seafood.

Ibom Marina Resort is a serene environment, perfect for unwinding after a day's work or a week of stress. It's a great place to relax, with many activities to indulge in.

I tried foosball for the first time, then snooker after a year or two 😆😜, and I wrapped it up with table tennis. I'm still learning all these games.

There are other games like lawn tennis, wooden Ludo, and chess, among others. These games are great for improving hand-eye coordination, strategic thinking, and social interaction.

After the evening games, it is ideal to eat or buy drinks. Pizza was a great option, and so were chicken sticks, but I still prefer the choice pizza anyway.

If you don't want to buy anything, no problem. You are there to have fun, relax, and leave refreshed.

Normalize finding recreational places around your environment and visiting them. Create memories and chill.

What some people don't know is that the fun you want when you visit some place, you have to create it.😚

I remember one of our group trips; this lady didn't find anything that could make her happy 😁😊.
Ewo, what happened sister? A place where everybody was having fun, yet nothing interested you.

You should see me and my cousin visit some places. Those who came to relax will watch us, and we'll leave full of excitement and fun.

Don't be like sister Extraordinary😆😜, who found no excitement in the places we visited.

You see, as our leaders brought back the old-new Anthem for us, as if that is where our problems lie. Just plan and visit some places in your area, or go on vacation outside your state. Ignore your problems for once, and maybe upon your return, you will come back with the solution 😚.

You can travel in a group; you tend to spend less, and it is more fun. That doesn't mean you can't go on a solo trip or outing.
