JUST IN three local airlines are suspending flights in line with precautionary measures by the Nigerian government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. They are:

will suspend flight operations from 28 March 2020 until 19 April 2020. Normal operations will resume 20 April 2020

will suspend commercial flight operations effective 27 March 2020 at 23h00. It is to be determined when the airline will resume

has suspended flight operations effective 25 March 2020 for two weeks

- Wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water or cleans them with alcohol-based hand rub

- Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow.

- Dispose of any used tissue immediately

- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms

- Avoid physical greeting like handshakes and hugging when greeting.

- Greet people with a hand wave, a nod or a bow

- Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing

- Avoid touching of your eyes, nose and mouth

If you have fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, seek medical care as soon as possible.

Stay safe, be informed and follow the advice given by your healthcare provider.
