I used to have an international passport that got expired without any stamp on it. I kept staring at it and said; this will not repeat itself again.
I renewed my passport and years past yet no travel. My passport had barely a year to expire and I was livid! Another passport? Expire again? Is this one becoming a curse or what?
This time, I became determined and I started asking questions upon questions and got a good agent who helped me answer all my questions. I looked at my account and it wasn’t anything to write home about.
I looked at my savings and it was enough to sponsor a trip but I’ll return empty.
I broke that curse by myself. Friends called me stewpid even though I know they were looking out for me. I traveled oh. I refused to see that passport expire and I traveled. I toured the country and bought so many of their local designs, bags, shoes, body creams, hairs, clothes, everything! I was making sure I took advantage of their free things both from the hotel and the market.
I returned to Nigeria and sold everything I bought and friends ordered for more, customers ordered for more, and I ended up making almost triple of my savings I spent.
And since then, it’s been from one country to the other.
