7 Reasons every Broadcaster should join the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters now

1. It is the only legally recognized professional body for Broadcasters in Nigeria

2. Just like ICAN, NBA, COREN, TRCN and other professional societies, SNB shall be statutorily empowered to issue and withdraw practice licence to Broadcasters in Nigeria.

3. Anyone not licensed by SNB will not be regarded as a professional Broadcaster and will be deprived the benefits attached, including employment, regardless of whether they are communication graduates or experts.

4. SNB has successfully gone through all the different stages of becoming a Law, and only waiting for the President's accent to become one.

5. Once the assent is given by the President, any one willing to be registered as a member will have to sit for and pass a qualifying examination.

6. Members inducted before the society become statutory shall have a special membership status.

7. The society will also protect the rights and interest of its registered members corporately at all levels.
