To achieve this, we are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with a strong background in OAuth, OpenID, and network protocols. If you are passionate about building robust, secure, and high-performance backends, we want you to join our team.

Job Description

As a Backend Engineer at Akaris Travels & Tours Ltd, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers our travel and tourism solutions. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from our core reservation systems to authentication and security features. Your primary focus will be on implementing OAuth and OpenID for secure user authentication and authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Implement OAuth and OpenID protocols for the server to communicate.
- Implement OAuth and OpenID protocols for user authentication and authorization.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and optimize network protocols.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues.
- Contribute to code reviews and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java backend technologies such as Spring framework, Quarkus, Vert.x, etc. (experience with one or more is a plus).
- Alternatively, experience with Node.js, Express, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of OAuth and OpenID for authentication and authorization.
- Familiarity with network protocols and security.
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
