TRAVEL TIPS
1. PACK A FEW.
Most of the clothes you pack are not needed…you won’t need as much as you think. Write down a list of essentials, cut it in half, and then only pack that! 

2. TAKE AN EXTRA BANK CARD OR CREDIT CARD WITH YOU.
Disasters happen. It’s always good to have a backup in case you get robbed or lose a card. You don’t want to be stuck somewhere new without access to your funds. Don't forget to always keep emergency cash somewhere safe too.

3. TRAVEL BY YOURSELF AT LEAST ONCE
You’ll learn a lot about how to boost your confidence. Traveling alone teaches you how to relate with people and handle unfamiliar situation, it improves your social skills, also gives you time and space to think.

4. YOU CAN ALWAYS USE A MAP.
Don’t be afraid to use a map or ask for directions just because you don't want to look like a visitor. Always refer to the map, It helps you get to destinations faster.

5. DON'T EAT NEAR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET.
The closer you are to tourist attractions the more you will pay for the food. On the contrary, most expensive restaurants in town offer "lunch special at half price" That’s a good time to eat out.

6. MAKE EXTRA COPIES OF YOUR PASSPORT AND IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS .
Scan a copy of your passport and other necessary documents and email a copy to yourself.
You never know when you will need it and might not want to carry your original. If your passport gets stolen, having a copy will come in handy for your police report or your E.T.C. don't forget to always have a spare passport photograph also.

7. ALWAYS GET BEHIND BUSINESS TRAVELERS WHEN IN SECURITY LINES.
They move fast since they are usually in a rush and travel light. They know the drill. Line up behind them as much as possible. You’ll speed through the line!

8. DON'T GO BEHIND FAMILIES 🤫.
They take forever😆. It’s not their fault🙂. They just have a lot of stuff because of the kids. It’s going to take awhile, except you are also travelling with kids.

HOW TO TRAVEL ON A BUDGET: SPICY TIPS♥️✌️


1) Come up with a plan✍📝!! Except you have the luxury of money and time. If not, just plan and save ahead.

2) Travel out of season✈️ avoid summer trips because the travel industry increases fare this period to take advantage of families who can only travel at peak period🛩️Just travel during shoulder season.

3) Avoid expensive hotels, substitute it with a low budget accommodation, so you can save cost. Well....except it's a luxury trip and you want to give yourself a treat😉 🏩🛳

4) Pack all essentials, so you don't have to start buying things out of necessity. Pack accordingly! not forgetting unpredictable weather conditions🏞️

5) Embrace public transport. 🚆🚉🚍🚎
Buses and trains are cheaper than local flights, you will also enjoy the beautiful view🥰

Remember, a journey on an overnight train also mean you have one less night in a hotel to pay for…....smart right?

Visa tips.

Getting a visa is not automatic, even though some people get lucky on rare occasion, but in most cases you have to follow due diligence.

You have to accompany your application with the right supporting documents.

You have to build a good bank statement, not just for the visa application, it must reflect your day to day or month to month activity (not in and out like some people think or putting a chunk to your account)
You have to show what you do in Nigeria.

You must have a strong tie to your country which is convincing enough that you will return to your country after your visit.

Strong ties could be in form of your Job, Investments, family tie, registered business, landed properties, shares, pension, cars and other assets, the list is endless provided it can be categorized as valuables.

Always remember that it's not about having millions in your account, You can have millions and your application will still be rejected.
