The Route:
Mile 2 > Badagry > Seme Border > Benin Republic > Lome
You are going to be stamping twice. One at Seme Border into Benin Republic 🇧🇯, then you’d stamp out of Benin Republic at the Hilaconji Border and Stamp into Togo 🇹🇬
However, what I learnt is that, it could be cheaper to enter this way but you also could risk being scammed if you don’t really know the system.
The exchange rate for the Franc CFA right now is another crazy thing that would make you spend more than double of what you’re meant to spend.
Please hold your Yellow Fever Vaccination card, if you’re using your passport.
Cost Summary:
Stamping my Virgin passport cost N4,000 into Benin Republic and 4,000 CFA (N8,880) into Togo.
Transport was N5,000 to Benin Republic (bike from Badagry) then 9,000 CFA (N19,980) into Lome.

Cape Verde is visa free for Nigerian passport holders because it is an Ecowas country.
However, you need to pay a security fee of 30 euros five days prior to arrival or at the immigration upon arrival
There are no direct flights from Nigeria to Cape Verde, alternatively you fly to Senegal and from Senegal fly to Cape Verde. Cape Verde is about an hour 23 minutes away from Senegal by air.
