Worry no more because IBOM AIR, a commercial airline wholly owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government, Nigeria now has seven aircraft (five Bombardier CRJ900 and two Airbus A220-300) in its fleet, flies 11 routes, covering six Nigerian cities .

Founded and launched in 2019, Ibom air is 100% owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government .

Akwa Ibom State🇨🇮 is the first sub-national to own a commercial airline in Africa.
