AKWA IBOM STATE UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES FORUM ( AKUGFO)

AKUGFO is a non-profit organisation established by a group of unemployed graduates from Akwa Ibom State in 2022. The Akwa Ibom State graduates found it difficult to enter the labour market because they do not have certain skills that will make it easy for them to be employable or start their own enterprises. These young women and men decided to establish AKUGFO with the hope to assisting fellow graduates find employment and also create employment for others.

OUR GOAL
- To kindle the entrepreneurial spirit of graduates.
- To promote self-employment among graduates of institutions of higher learning, thereby changing their job-seeking mindset.

VISION
To be the leading platform that aims at
eradicating unemployment and elevating
poverty among graduates in Akwa Ibom State.

MISSION
To equip, empower and connect graduates with socio-economic opportunities for a bright future.

The Uyo green park is a very serene, beautiful and nice place for relaxation. Cool and a very good place to spend time with family, friends. It is a nice place for picnics, birthday parties and other events.

It's a very serene place to be with family. But recently I noticed that the Managers of the Park aren't maintaining it well again, perhaps due to lack of financial support from the government. This is the love garden in the city of Uyo as it stands, However, the place is not well kept as in the past week or so even up to the time of this review.
