Dit zit eraan te komen.... met de nieuwe directie van Garuda. Garuda gaat met ingang van 19 februari weer rechtstreeks vanaf Schiphol naar Jakarta vliegen. Daarmee komt er binnen vijf maanden weer een eind aan de route naar Denpasar via Medan, die op 1 oktober juist in de plaats kwam van de rechtstreekse lijndienst naar Jakarta.

Garuda, dat sinds kort een nieuwe directie heeft, zegt het besluit te hebben genomen na een “heroverweging” van de route.

Door de herintroductie van de rechtstreekse lijndienst Amsterdam-Jakarta kan Garuda ook weer internationale verbindingen met één stop aanbieden naar bestemmingen als Singapore, Bangkok en Perth.

Still caught deeply by this tragedy, the downing of flight PS752 of UIA. So truely sad for the Families, the loss of their beloved ones - the loss of many innocent lives....Iranian, Canadian, British nationals and the Crew of Ukraine International Airlines.

So essential for Governments to work on major steps to safeguard and taking necessary measurements and precautions for Commercial jets and aircrafts to secure SAFE AIRSPACE and FLYING ZONES... How could this happen - a mistake of the other side.....as quoted by President Trump... Let them stop the launching of missiles Leaders of Governments - this crazynest have to stop - WE don't want any war nor WWIII !!!

Still sad for the Families not to be able to greet their beloved ones and welcomed them home nor to see and meet up again, So rude that ones lives just ended so permanently..... RIP.....RIP.......

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with all of the Staff of UIA. We flew couple of times with UIA and experienced nice service aboard like last time February 2019 via Kyev to Dubai.
