On 4 February 2016, the moment where all Aphrodite members were most excited for was finally about to happen. Everyone arrived at Schiphol, too nervous for what the destination would be, and got super enthusiastic when LISBON was announced. 4 days and 3 nights of fun, dinners, lunch, drinks, hangovers, party, shopping, culture, crazyness, friendship and laughter made this trip the best we've ever had!!!

On 13 February 2016, all Aphrodites and their handsome dates travelled all the way to the icecold Iceland to watch the IceQueen opening the event, enjoy a lunch in the Graafschap football stadion, drink Glühwijn and Hot chocolate with rum during the winter drink, get a picture with the reindeers, toast with champagne, enjoy a delicious dinner and party HARD!!! It was an extremely successful night.

On 10 February 2016, all members travelled to Japan and arrived, after supporting our lovely Nora at the Comitas Board Change, at the karoake bar Casablanca in the centre of Amsterdam. Here everyone enjoyed some delicious sushi, wines, beers and MUSIC! These pictures beautifully show how much fun everyone had together.

On 3 February 2016, the members of Aphrodite woke up with a huge hangover due to the event of the night before but managed to get out of bed again to go to Paris, France, where they could enjoy a lovely hangover breakfast and receive their trip present. The live singer and caricaturist made the atmosphere complete.

On 2 February 2016 all Aphrodite members and their best guy friends travelled by Kwibus to Thailand, to celebrate a chaotic full moon party and play some beach volleyball and soccer. The competitivenss, craziness and happiness of everyone made it an evening to never forget!

On 1 February 2016, the first lustrum of A.I.S.A. Aphrodite officially started with an openings dinner at restaurant Canvas. We travelled all the way to the origin of Aphrodite, Athens in Greece, to eat in style of the Greek Goddesses with a view as if we are on top of the world!

Op zondag 10 januari 2016 heeft A.I.S.A een veiling en netwerk evenement georganiseerd met als doel zo veel mogelijk geld op te halen voor het lustrum van het dispuut en het goede doel 'Hotel con Corazon'. Het was een zeer geslaagde dag met een geweldig bedrag als resultaat. Bedankt allen! De fantastische foto's zijn gemaakt door Fauve de Ruiter!

On Sunday 10 January 2016, A.I.S.A has organized an auction and network event, with the main goal of generating money for the luster of the sorority and the charity 'Hotel con Corazon'. It was a great day with an amazing amount as end result. Thanks everyone! The fantastic photos are made by Fauve de Ruiter.

Yesterday, the LuCo of A.I.S.A has finally revealed and shared with the rest of Aphrodite one of their secrets, the Lustrum theme!! ON TOP OF THE WORLD is the main theme of the first Lustrum of this sorority, with every sub-activity characterized by another country with another culture.

We are ready to travel to Greece to have an evening to see where Aphrodite was founded, ready to partner with our best friends to once again experience a lovely full moon night, ready to represent our classiness during a Parisian morning, ready to show our outgoingness during the trip, ready to get the best out of the situation during the Japanese evening, ready to show our ambitions and competitiveness during an Egyptian night, and finally ready to travel all the way to Iceland to show who we are and show that we are not hesitant to be ourselves during the Winter Wonderland Gala!


We can only imagine that in 5 years we come together, seeing some of our members in the personalities of the movie, having enriched our travel experiences and many of us living abroad, but still remembering a crazy lustrum which already took a step into the future, featuring all the countries of where you may live.

Dear all of you,

Amsterdam International Sorority Aphrodite exists for five years in 2016, sooo it is time to celebrate its very first Lustrum! We will do this in February 2016 with all our members together; a group of fun, outgoing, open-minded and independent international women.
