Tijdens het groot onderhoud van de molen is er ook een meting van de roedes gedaan. Dit doen we tussen de 10 en 15 jaar. Tijdens de meting kwamen we erachter dat er een scheur zit in de binnenroed. Dit is het zwarte lijntje (aangezet met paars). Hierdoor zetten we de molen voor de zekerheid stil. Hij kan niet breken, maar veiligheid staat voorop!

De komende 3 weken is de molen dan ook gesloten. Windmolenmakerij Saendijck en wij kunnen hierdoor hopelijk snel de roedes repareren zodat we in de zomervakantie gewoon open kunnen!

Wil je een andere mooie molen bezoeken; Oliemolen De Zoeker is de komende 3 weken 7 dagen in de week open. Net als Verfmolen De Kat die altijd open is!
