Eigenlijk is het altijd prachtig wandelen hier! Ieder seizoen net zo mooi 🥰. Winter wandelingen zijn toch wel 1 van mijn favoriete dingen om te doen. Hoofdjes leeg maken, lekker bewegen, ongedwongen prettige gesprekken en gaan!

A nice way to end the season peacefully 🙌!
Had a nice meal next to Orvieto and yesterday rode to the beautiful center of Orvieto by bike and had a delicious affogato 😋 .

Thank you to everyone who wanted to spend their vacation with us this year. The pre-, mid- and high-season prices for 2025 are now on the website.

Operation “NIGHT GLOW”!!! 🤩🤩

On the evening of 28 July, at 20:30, a spectacular ‘Night Glow’ will be held at the Foligno Airport with the participation of all the hot-air balloon teams taking part in the Italian International Balloon Grand Prix 2024. “Night Glow” will be an attempt to break the Italian record for the largest number of hot air balloons inflated together in a single place on Italian territory. The hot air balloons will be inflated at sunset and will turn into giant fireflies with the effect of flames inside the hot air balloons, creating an evocative and unique spectacle never before seen in Italy.

I have put together 3 beautiful bike rides!

The first bike ride is to cycle through the beautiful landscape to Orvieto center and take a break at a delicious gelateria. This tour is 44 km in total.

The second is a beautiful trip to Lake Bolsena. There is a restaurant on the water next to the village of Bolsena. Here we take a break and eat delicious pasta and drink a good glass of wine. This route is 75 km in total and we can charge the mountain bikes at the restaurant.

The third trip is a beautiful tour via a neighboring village of Montecchio and then rest in Baschi at a local restaurant. This fun tour lasts a total of 29 km.

I can organize mountain bike rides for 4 guests or more. Let me know what you think!

Yesterday was finally THE day that I walked across that beautiful bridge in Sellano. I have to mention that a guest of mine asked what I thought about braving that bridge together 😂🙈. Together we were quite anxious. In the end, 4 lovely guests came along to experience this adventure. the first 100 steps were with shaking knees, but after that it was a pure enjoyment and I felt on top of the world!
In addition to this adventurous bridge, you also have beautiful waterfalls nearby to visit and don't forget Ristorante Loch Ness. Small menu and always seasonal delicious dishes 👌.

Vraagje! Ik ben bezig met een te gekke fietstocht in elkaar te zetten. Na de geslaagde wandeltochten van vorig jaar, werd het tijd om misschien een fietstocht er ook bij te knallen. Wat vindt jij? Zou jij interesse hebben wanneer je hier op vakantie bent, om een prachtige fietstocht te doen, op meerendeel rustige wegen, naar Orvieto toe en naast Orvieto (met een prachtig uitzicht) te lunchen samen met andere fiets fanaten en mij? 9 lieve, geweldige, mooie, sterke, grappige en hard werkende mensen uit Nederland waren hier om te helpen met een aantal mega klussen. De 250 olijfbomen staan in de grond! De pannakooi is af, de Ape-limo staat weer strak in de verf en nog veel meer klussen zijn afgestreept. Naast alle klussen werd er natuurlijk ook goed gegeten & gedronken, gepraat, gewandeld en heel veel gelachen.

Dank, dank, dank lieve mensen 🫶

About last night 🥰… I will always be extremely grateful for these little moments. I call it little, but actually being able to do this work here in Italy and receiving such a sunset as a gift at the end of your working day is more a feeling of big wealth. Because let’s be honest… who doesn’t want a backyard like this 😉.

Een droom die begint

Na jaren zoeken, wikken en wegen hebben we eindelijk de stap genomen... we springen in het diepe en laten al onze zekerheden achter ons en storten ons in het avontuur.

Niet meer hectisch leven, elkaar even zien voor of na werk maar keihard werken, samen, op onze droomplek! We gaan (terug) naar Italië!

Vanaf dit seizoen openen wij met ons gezin een kleinschalige, kindvriendelijke Agriturismo bestaande uit 5 appartementen en een aantal Glampingtenten. Een droom voor ons als gezin op een droomplek in het “Groene hart van Italië”... A presto!
