This delightful dessert is characterized by its thick, buttery crust and a generous filling of tart apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Dutch apple pie is very rich, very buttery, and quite heavy! They are almost twice as tall as a standard American style apple pie. Often served with whipped cream and sometimes containing raisins, this Dutch treat is definitely worth trying!
