Draag als je ergens aankomt altijd(!) minimaal een shirt. Het is onfatsoenlijk om met je badpak of zonder shirtje aan te komen. Wil je het helemaal netjes doen haal je ook de was van de lijn en hang die weer op pas als je aangelegd hebt.

Itinerary: The Turkish Coast Gökova - Seven Islands Nature

On this journey we leave the port area of Bitez to head to the magnificent Gulf of Gökova. This route, famous for it’s lush green shores, the many inlets and hundreds of small bays is a highlight of the Turkish Riviera.

Since we are sailing the route is never fixed. Together with your Captain, you will decide where to go and what to see. With a length of 80 NM and some 22 NM across there are plenty of sites to chose from and of course plenty of time to enjoy the multiple daily swimming breaks and explore the land.

There are many places to choose from visiting a range of very particular spots like Mersincik, Kargil, Cokertme, English harbor, Cleopatra Island, Süt, Oeren, Akyaka, Datca and Cnidos.

Of course you will meet the unbelievable friendly people of Turkey and even get to go to the small mountain village of Bozalan where your crew is from. Your crew will take you on a town walk with tea and of course you will see the manufacturing of beautiful hand knitted Carpets, a skill that dates back many centuries with unique designs and is carried over from generation to generation by the local women while their men work at sea….

The sailing wind is predictable with no rough seas and a treat for both experienced and none experienced sailing guests. With land always in sight, you will never encounter the feeling of being ‘lost’ or too far out.
